    Eastpaw smiled and giggled. She was glad to see and hear Orchidblood laugh. Most of today she had been so serious.

    Letterkit's eyes sparked with interest, and he crouched down, waggling his rump in the air. "I'm gonna get you, Orchidblood!" And then he pounced.

    Eastpaw laughed lightly as she watched Orchidblood and her kits. She wagged her tail and trained her eyes on the two.

    Letterkit giggled as he batted Orchidblood's shoulder with his paws, tail waving like a banner behind him.

    Eastpaw sighed, "I wonder if my kits have presuaded him yet?" she mumbled aloud. She looked over at Letterkit and Orchidblood. "Its not right to take these kits away from their family here."

    "Well, according to bloodlines and stuff you and the kits are only family with each other," said Orchidblood. "Though Like I said...we're all related if you go back far enough, probably."

    "But I mean Windclan," Eastpaw meowed, "Not by blood. I mean Windclan is their home and family. They never knew Thunderclan at all."

    "I know," said Orchidblood. "That's the only angle we have. Yes, i'm with you on this. I think forcing the kits to leave isn't fair at all. They didn't ask to be born in this clan."

    Letterkit's hazel eyes traveled from his mother to Orchidblood and back as they exchanged words, confusement reflected in his wide eyes. "Mom? We're leaving?"

    Eastpaw's face fell when she heard Orchidblood's mew. "Are you saying Im at fault for .. something?" she asked softly.

    Asterkit wandered over, "Are we playing?" he'd seen Letterkit having fun, but then things looked kind of serious at the same time. He tipped his head quizzicly, looking from Eastpaw to Orchidblood to Letterkit.

    Letterkit turned around to see his brother Asterkit. He grinned, jumping up and scampering over. "I dunno," he mewed. "Mom and Orchiblood are talking; it's so boring. Let's play, Asterkit!"

    Eastpaw sighed in relief. "Good, I thought i heard something.. " she shook her head, "its my messed up mind at the moment I guess."

    "Im glad your on my side! It makes me feel abit better. If only a bit. Still, Im glad your with me," Eastpaw meowed. She turned to her kits, hoping she wasnt showing herself to be depressed and weak.

    Eastpaw sighed, "Well now what?" she asked her friend. "Should we go see my kits? Or just wait for them to come?"
