Ivan noticed a sharp flash of a tear roll down Jake's cheeks. He whimpered solemnly as he held his gaze on Jake. " It's ok Jake. Venus knows what's right. She always does." he thumped his tail encouringingly.

Venus didn't move, looking from Ivan to Jake.

He fell silent for a moment. " Is there a problem?" he murmered softly, raising his head towards venus.

"No," Venus replied. "I was just thinking," She said truthfully, looking over at Ivan.

His whiskers twitched uncomfortably. " About what?" he blurted, his head cocked curiously.

"About humans," Venus replied easily, laying ehr head back on her paws. "I don't like them. Officially."

Ivan suddenly bit back on his words, flattening his ears solemnly. He regretted every word Venus had just said. She would never love him now. She hated humans...Officially.
She said she hated humans...not him...
But his owners are so good to him...he coudn't just betray them...

Venus suddenly realized what she said, and looked over at Ivan, stammering, "I.. I didn't mean it in that way... I just..." She trailed off.

Ivan blinked slowly. " No...It's fine." he murmered, staggering to his feet. The lingering effects had washed away, takin over by the fault emotion.

Venus blinked slowly, feeling like she wanted to sleep for a million lifetimes. BUt she knew she wouldn't be able to get to sleep anyway.

Venus officially doesn't like humans, Ivan felt slightly offended, she apologized, they were pretty much just talking :)

Cool. Jake staggered out of the den. He sat down to steady himself. The man appeared at the door. Jake didnt notice. He had a shot gun. He cocked, and fired. The bullet hit Jake in the side. He yelped, and fell.
Sorry if the typing is messy........ being blind and numb after getting my tooth pulled and all.

Venus jumped up as she heard another gunshot, padding over to the entrance of the den and poking her head out cautiously.

Jake was on his side, bleeding hevily. "Dont come out, Venus! He's still there!" The man shot Jkae again.

Venus stayed where she was, looking at Jake helplessly, and then at the man.

The man laughed evilly. "FINNALLY! HE'S DEAD! Now, I shall get his friend and his little mate, too."

Venus backed back inside the den, her tail between her legs.

IC: Ivan jumped, remembering the same noise of a shot gun. Fear tickled his spine, raising his hackles as he noticed Venus. " What's going on!? Where Jake!?" he yelped, his eyes feared in a liquified black.
