Get on my back Moonshadows! Ill take the kits! Nightinggale picked up all the kits and raced out of the camp with Moonshadows on his back.

Once he got to his den he gently put down Moonshadows and the kits on his soft nest, nudging the kits to Moonshadows to suckle. Then he gave Moonshadows a juicy mouse he had caught later, and licked her on the cheek comfortingly.
