    Rebel was a little worried about the race because it was 28 miles,earlier he lied to his brother so he wouldn't panic and flunk the race.
    Zach sighed remembering the race today.

    Buck looked at the rest of the dogs. There owner took him and rebel to the front.

    The human yelled."Mush!" Rebel started running slowly, trying to save his energy for the race.
    Zach was running a little too slow, but he was keeping up.

    "He's just a little lazy, I'll get him to speed up, just start going a little faster." He said zooming ahead, at full speed.
    Zach sped up."Hey! Are we racing already?" He asked.

    Rebel came to a stop."Hey, Zach prepare to run a lot faster for 26 miles straight!" He laughed knowing his brother would kill him.
    Zach growled."What?! You said it was just 3 miles! I hate you! When this is over I'm gonna kill you!"
    Rebel laughed."If your not passed out by then!"

    Carmen nodded her agreement with Buck and barked at Zach, "don't worry! When you don't think about it, it doesn't seem that long."

    Once all the other dogs showed up, a man yelled."Go!" Rebel started running slowly, trying to save energy for the rest of the race.
    Zach sighed."Whatever." He said running at the same pace for the first time.

    Keeping at the same pace he watched a team go ahead of them.He speed up abit.

    Suddenly, Isabell swtarted to sprint foreward toward a tree. She began to bark and growl. A group of raccons sped around the other side of the tree and circled around her. She growled and snapped her jaws. One racoon staggered from behiond her and fast it's jaws on her on her left front leg. She twisted around and shook him off but it was too late - the damage had been done. Blood seeped from her wound. Isabell was overcome with pain and fell down onto the snow. The racoon group quickly raced back into the forest, terrified. Soon the snow beneath her leg was covered in bright red blood.

    Rebel immediately stopped, turning around he sniffed Isabells leg."Are you ok?" He asked worried.
    Zach stopped seeing what happened to Isabell.
