Snowclan camp (Open to everyone)

"Stay back!" Saevus roared at Blue. But at that moment pain evoloped his leg as a horrible how escaped his jaws as he felt the sharp tip of the elks horn pierce the muscles in his back leg. The cougar scowled as he bended over to grab the sharp on its his jaw. Slowly Saevus was able to pull the horn out of his leg and back away far enough before the elk could attack him again. The elk looked stunned for a second as it realized it didn't kill the large cat. Saevus released a large hiss at the elk, and it quickly came charging at him. The cougar just stood there as it got closer. Wait for it...Wait for it...Now! At the moment the cougar quickly sidestepped and avoided the bull elks deadly horns. Then Saevus turned around and leaped onto the elks back, hooking his claws into the elks flank. But he was quickly kicked off, and a hard kick was delived to his stomach, which quickly made him gag, but luckily nothing came out, just spit. Saevus took a little white to recover, but the elk was examining its wounds. Soon the cougar was on his paws, luckily he hunted bull elk, but never wounded. He knew he was going to struggle, but if he played his cars right, he would be able to do it.

Now that his friend was out of harm way, he could easily begain to take down the elk. But ask he was about to run, he nearly fell over because of the deep gash in his leg. The horns the elk had had pierced nearly through his entire leg and almost into the next. He knew he would have to use smarts against the elk as he faced it off. The elk was obviously pissed off as steam come from its nostriles and into the cold air. They seemed to narrow their eyes at each other, just staring until Saevus let out a deafening roar at the bull elk. This made it flinch a little, and while it was recovering from its previous attack the large male charged at it. Big mistake as the bull elk recovered faster than he thought and quickly had his horns up. The cougar had to veer to the right just to avoid them, nearly sliding into them because of the snow. Finally the bull elk seemed like it had enough and began to charge at the cougar. Saevus hissed as he had to turn around and half run, half limp, to a nearbye tree which he climbed quickly, using his large claws. Soon he was on top of it, and then he realized that the elk was below him. A smirk overcame the cougar as he quickly leaped onto the elks back, which made in bulgle in fear and made it run around the clearing. Blood filled the cougars mouth as he held onto the back of the elk. Then moving his head, he let himself almost swing down and bite deep under the elks neck. Then suddenly the elk suddenly tripped, and Saevus had to leap off so he didn't get crushed. Then swiftly the cougar rushed over to the elk while it was still on the ground, and bit deeply into its neck, slowly suffocating it. Its hooves flailed, but it soon stopped, and the cougar let go of the elks neck, letting its head drop to the ground. It was a great prize, even for a cougar. He was of course panting while his mouth was lined with the elks blood.

"I'll be fine for the time being now there missy. There is no reason to worry about my care being at the moment." Saevus promised as he sat down next to the dead elk in the snow. It already began to loose its heat from the cold snow and his amber eyes finally met her. "come try some." The male offered calmly as he gesture to her with her tail. Then he realized she probably wouldn't be able to break its thick hide, and so limped over toward its flank, where the best was usually held. There Saevus sank his teeth into the carcass of the new elk and ripped over a gap into the hide so the she-cat was going to be able to get at the fresh meat.
His muzzle was already fully of blood which gave his fur a darker appearance on his muzzle as he sat back and waited for his clanmate.

Saevus had to make himself cross eyed to see that his muzzle had become coveres in blood. Then suddenly he stuck his head in the snow and began to shake his head around. As his head came up, it was a lighter color as some of the blood rubbed off into the snow. He watched the she-cat and gave a small smile as she ate her first bite of big game. The cougar then decided to help himselfs and began plucking the fur off the elks shoulder and spitting the fur onto the ground. Indeed thats what cougar's usually did to their prey before they sank their fangs into its flesh. Soon the shoulder of the elk was completely bare, and Saevus quickly sunk his larges fangs into the shoulder. Ineed this was the touch part of the carcass, but it had a lot of protein, and while the flank had more fat too it to give you energy. Soon he had a mouthful of fresh elk meat.

Saevus chuckled at his clanmate. But before he answered his clanmate he swallowed a mouthful of fresh elk meat. Then his amber gaze went down toward his leg, even though it was fairly deep, it still dripped blood onto the ground. But it wasn't gushing as much as he thought it would. "No. I usually hung cow elk. But I couldn't tell what else it was this time." The male cougar explained as he went to get more elk.

The male cougars ears perked as he heard pawsteps, at first he thought they were wolves and gave a warning growl, but then saw that it was his clanmates. Relieft wash over him as they musn't have seen the hunt, and luckily they weren't there to interfere. "Blue is fine, the bull elk I think stepped on her tail though. While I was hunting I thought it was a cow elk and attacked, but then as I was about to leap at the piece of prey, I saw it had horns, and my hesitation gave it time to impail one of its horns through my hind right left." Saevus calmly explained as he grabbed another large piece of flesh from his kill and quickly chewed and swallowed it.

The male cougar chuckled as the she-cat took her first bite of big gane. It was indeed delicious, which it better be as it took him quite a while to actually get on the ground, and got him injured. Then Saevus turned his head back toward his leg and leaned over to clean it. His rough tongu easily lapping up the blood, luckily it was so cold out that he barely felt any pain. But once he did, boy was it going to hurt.

The male cougar's ears flicked at his clanmates compliment. That made him smile, but that slowly faded as he still began to lick his leg. Then when he heard the comment of what they were going to do, he could answer that easily. "Simple question to answer. I can still walk." Saevus pointed out as he even showed as he stood up, but kept his back right leg off the ground.
