Nikea sees Lunar pull ahead from the corner of her eye. I cannot disappoint. another jet-like burst of water sends her up out of the water and in to a perfect nose dive, putting her beside the she-wolf again.

Lunar sped up fastly.

I'm here! Until...uh not sure!
Star knew she was well behind, but the yellow she-wolf dove into the river for the fun of it, and eventually caught up within seeing distance of Lunar and Nikea.

Nikea struggles to regain ground on the she-wolf, though she stays close enough to be a major threat.

Star kicked hard with her back legs, propelling herself through the river. She didn't know what elements the other wolfs had, but she knew her element could help her in this event.
She paddled harder and harder, healing herself everytime her stamina wore down. She was close to the other wolfs by this point.

Lunar's is water.
Lunar was almost there. She kept paddling fast.

Nikea feels the current change as Star approaches. The water bubbles around her. She lifts slightly out of the water from the force of the water. She jets forward and noses past Lunar. She has finally found her pace ANC it keeps her flying on the surface of the water.

Lunar focused her mind and sped forward, almost reaching the finish.

Star was in last when the wolfs passed the finish line. (you two can decide who the first and second placers are ;D)

Lunar crossed and smiled.

Nikea follows close behind. All her energy leaves at once as she drags herself out of the water. "Good race, everyone." She calls, though disappointment floods her inside.

sapphire is here and i have to do it at night tomorrow or right now cuz me going ice skate tomorrow and i seeing dark knight rise tonight

Star didn't mind losing all that much, she was just glad she was accepted. She bounced over to her brother, Temporal, before realizing she was still mad at him for shoving her off the other day. She walked back to the river.
(does anyone know when and what the next event is?)
