She looked away once more, unable to hold his gaze. What was going on?

Grasstail closed his eyes and sighed.
-
Like Grasstail, Goldenpaw sighed. She lay her head down on her paws, then looked out across the flat, treeless moorland.
-
Grasstail thought about if he actually liked Goldenpaw like a m word or friend he didn't know. She was so young.
-
Suddenly, a flash of white not far off caught Goldenpaw's eye. A rabbit!
Technically, she was still on hunting patrol so she jumped up. "I-I'll be right back." She told Grasstail, then sped off towards the rabbit.
As she neared the white pelted rabbit, Goldenpaw slowed to a walk. Then she leaned forward into a hunting that she had done many times before.
In one quick leap, she had the rabbit pinned to the ground and her teeth were clamping down onto it's throat. The tabby then picked the limp body up into her jaws, and then firmly carried it back to where Grasstail was.
-
"Great catch!" Grasstail complamented.
-
"T-thanks!" The golden tabby she-cat purred. She set the rabbit down onto the ground, then sat beside it. "They're g-going to wonder why I haven't c-caught that much p-prey." She meowed sheepishly.
-
"I'll help you." Grasstail suggested.
-
"T-that'd be great." Goldenpaw mewed, smiling at Grasstail.
-
"Okay." Grasstail meowed and scented the air. He tracked the smell of a rabbit that was about not 2 four-trees away and stuck his paw in to the rabbit's hole. He felt the rabbit and snapped its neck cleanly and carried it back to Goldenpaw.
-
Goldenpaw watched the warrior as he went off to catch something, then smiled as he returned with a rabbit. The tabby gave him a nod, then went trotting off to find something that she could catch. The scent of a mouse hit her nose; the warm scent not far off. It'd probably come out to bask in the sun and find something to eat.
She padded forward; tail swishing slowly out behind her and ears pressed flat against her head. Up ahead the small, brown furry body of the prey could be plainly seen against the lush moorland grass. As soon as she was only a few paw-steps away from it, she sprang and quickly ended it's life.
-
Grasstail waited for Goldenpaw to get back.
-
Bending down, the tabby picked up the mouse gingerly between her teeth and then turned to head back.
Once back to where Grasstail was, the tabby set the mouse down where the two dead rabbits now sat in a pile.
-
"Pretty good catch, huh?" Grasstail meowed admiring there pile of kill.
-
"Y-yeah." She replied. Thank StarClan that leaf-bare was over.
-
Grasstail was drawn to look at Goldenpaw again. She was so pretty, and so nice...
-
Goldenpaw's head tipped to the side as she looked at Grasstail. He seemed like he was staring off again. "G-Grasstail?" She meowed uncertainly, lifting a paw to wave in front of his face.
-
"Huh!" Oh shoot he was drifting off!
-
"G-getting sleepy again?" Goldenpaw giggled at him, dark brown eyes lighting up in amusement.
-
"No." Grasstail awnserd.
