    Mistpaw shrank back, tears bursting into her eyes, though she did touch noses. Lunepaw stood there with her mouth open. Then stalked forward. Licking Mistpaws ear.

    Flaxfire blinked at Mistpaw, filled with guilt. "Mistpaw" she began "I'm sorry...I was just...surprised" She stepped forward, smiling warmly at her apprentice.

    Tigertail sat at the brim of the cats, watching as some departed. Getting up, he shook his pelt - obviously not in a hurry - he padded to Dreamstar. I was wondering, Dreamstar . . . He stammered, eyes shofting from the ground to the stead gaze of his leader.

    Dreamstar's tail flicked about as she turned to face Tigertail. "Yes?" she mewed "Is something wrong Tigertail?" Her green eyes narrowed curiously.

    Tigertail shook hsi head. No, Dreamstar. I was just wondering . . . if I could be a mentor soon. I know that asking is bad, but I haven't had one in ages. He meowed, tone soft and barely audible.

    Dreamstar nodded, purring "Forestkit and Starrykit will be apprenticed soon. You can mentor one of them if you'd like" She mewed, tipping her head to one side.

    Tigertail's eyes grew bright. Thank you, Dreamstar. He bowed, soon backing away and bounding to the warriors' den.
