    Rosedream looked sadly at the ground. "You don't love your mama?", she started. "Oh, okay.", she mewed, sadly laying down.

    Daisykit squealed in delight as she saw her sister. "Sissy, don you wanna pway with mama too?", she asked hopefully. "Mama fun like yoooo!", she mewled happily.

    Rosedream lay her head down, deppressed. "Am I that bad of a mother?", she asked herself. A tear rolled down her cheek.

    An eagle swooped down and picked Cactuskit up off the ground. "MOMMY HELP!" the tiny kit wailed helplessly.

    Rosedream whipped around facing the eagle. "GIMME MY BABY!", she roared. And with all her might, lept up and tackled the eagle, spilling it's blood and still in the air, caught Cactuskit and dropped down gracefully.

    The eagle picked up Cactuskit again and carried her too high for Rosedream to jump up.

    "No!", Rosedream wailed like a helpless kit. "Cactuskit, I'm coming!", she meowed, running after the eagle with all her might.

    Cactuskit squirmed and squirmed, finally falling from the eagle's grip, screaming to the earth. She landed smack in a lake, flailing in the water. Eventually, her head sunk under the surface.

    Rosedream dove in the ice blue water, it's blizzard like coldness sweeping over her frail body. But, pushing with all her might, swam under deep and rescued her freezing kit.

    Cactuskit was limp and barely breathing, her breaths coming slowly, raspy. It would be very unlikely that she survived.

    "Mama?" said Tigerkit in shock. "Were you trying to drown cacticekit because he cwyed?" He started to cry with a little tear rolling down his cheek.

    Rosedream turned around, facing her small kit. "Of course not dear! I was trying to save your sister.", she mewed. "Everything is okay."

    "Okay... Is she all right?" asked Tigerkit turning from fear to shck at remembering cacticekits behavior.
