Orangekit blinked from the sun, the blinding light making it hard to see. She shrunk back into the Nursery.

Sageheart woke up. She still felt so tired.

"Mommy, what was that bright thing out there?" Orangekit asked, her bright blue eyes wide.

Sageheart smile. "That is the sun," she said. "It gives light to the world. Don't worry you'll get use to it soon."

Streamkit ran out of the nursery, her big gray eyes were wide. She ran in the sunlight, her darker gray stripes shining against her silver fur. She twirled and twirled and twirled in circles happily!

"Streamkit please be careful," called Sageheart.

"Yes,mommy!" Streamkit called back, still twirling.

Sageheart smiled at her. She loved her kits they where perfect.

Streamkit got dizzy and fell on her back, which sent her into a fit of giggles.

Sageheart pulled her closer with her tail.

Streamkit squealed and gigglec again, blinking, and looking up at her mommy with large, cheerful, round gray eyes.

"If you want to go out side its ok, but only if I watch you," she said.
