He is either a cream or fawn. If he is a cream, he is a very dark one. I thought fawn first, but that is such a rare colour that cream is more likely. But if you told me he was a fawn I'd have no argument.
His eyes are amazing. I gave my she-cat Rachaeli similar, slightly darker eyes.

This picture is one that really makes me think he is actually fawn cat. Note how dark the stripes are. You just do not see that in creams.

This one too...even moreso. I just don't see a cream being that dark.
I wonder if his owner realises what a rare kitty she has? ^_^

Okay, found it. *bliss*
-
It's probably fixed :P
-
At first I thought he was a red because of the second pic oh him that you linked. :P
Thanks Wynn!
Okay, found it. *bliss*Huh?
-
Wynn told me you have her a whole fawn gallery in another thread and I was looking for it :P
-
Oh, okay.
I thought you were stalking me. :P
-
Yeah Celegra posted the link to the gallery of the fawn cat in the top post.
-
I don't stalk Celegra. How long have you had that new pair of jeans? :P
Yep I got it :) I just saw you firs tmention it in another thread.
-
I didn't get a new pair of jeans, thank you very much. My old ones fit just fine. :P
Sorry to create more work for you Wynn {and maybe Chris}, but here's another pic I really can't find the color of:

Unfortunately, I don't have a gallery of him like last time. :P However, I'm pretty sure this pic is also of him:
And he's the darker colored one here:
More:

It's funny... he looks lighter in some of the pics. They might not be all of the same cat. If so, I'm sorry. :P I did my best.
-
Brown tabby with a golden hue. Could be called golden tabby. The breed matches up too, that is clearly a Persian. Those 2 lighter ones in the pic with 3 kittens look like blue tabbies.
-
I spy red on the three kit's faces - could they be blue torbies?
And there's lots of red on the main kitten in those photos... maybe torbie?
-
you guys are talented XD i don't even know how to tel torties and white from calicos XD i know....stupid
-
On the pics it said the cat was a tom, so wouldn't a torbie be extremely rare?
-
Hm.....i guess, i think he was pretty cute in the first pic but in the others he looked more persian, and i don't really like persians, because they look like they're grumpy, no offense kit.
-
The thing is that the red hues seem symmetrical and you never see that on a tortie or torbie. So I was thinking it was part of the tabby pattern in this case.
-
Hmm, the other parts of him look almost off whitish. Do brown tabbies usually have that color?
-
On the chin you mean? Yes, the chin is frequently white on brown tabbies and is always alighter colour.
-
Yeah you see the white chin patch a lot in purebreds like Abyssinian for example.
Hey Fireember, the official difference between tortie and white and calico? The amount of white. Calicos have more white - as a rule of thumb half or more white is calico. Less than half is tortie and white. But this can be geographical and people can use one term or the other a lot for both!
-
I've always used calico to mean any tortie that also has white on them, even if just the mitted pattern or less. By your definition, Rachaeli is a tortie, by mine she is a calico.
