Shimmerpaw followed Sparkstar and the light sprinkle had turned into a steady rain..... her white pelt plastered to her frame, she found herself heading to the apprentice den
Sparkstar made sure Flameheart was okay....his orange fur had been wetted down, showing his broad muscular frame

Badgerpaw followed Shimmerpaw to the apprentices den

Sparkstar nudged Flameheart to their den... once inside he gave a little sigh of frustration
Shimmerpaw got inside..... it felt so warm in here.... she was freezing from the cold rain... teeth chattering she dried off as best as she could

"You ok?" Badgerpaw asked

Shimmerpaw nodded "yeah I'm fine..." she said and smiled slightly..... she returned to her nest and started to groom her fur dry

He groomed himself

Shimmerpaw, feeling warmer laid her head down on her paws.... hearing the rain was starting to down pour..... she felt something cold run down her ear.... her ear flicked..... soon this happened several times before Shimmerpaw looked up.... there was a hole in the ceiling.... just enough to let a drop of water come through

Badgerpaws backed faced her

Annoyed, Shimmerpaw shifted.... but how many times she did that one drop of water always found a way to pester her..... soon Shimmerpaw would move.... but what could a drop of water do?

"Sparkstar? Is everything alright?" Flameheart walked up beside him and entwined their tails, not caring that they were both soaked.

Sparkstar nodded, "I just don't want you to catch anything with this freezing rain...." Sparkstar said as they headed back to their den
Shimmerpaw sighed in annoyance

Badgerpaw flicked his ear to get a water droplet off it

Flameheart smiled, "I'll be fine. I'm a warrior, not a kit. I'll race you the rest of the way."

Sparkstar smiled and he said "On a count of three..." he readied himself, "One......two...."
Shimmerpaw began to doze off

"Three." Flameheart took off, the rain forcing her to narrow her eyes as she ran up the slope.

Sparkstar bolted after Flameheart, catching up to her quickly

Flameheart looked over at him and started laughing. She stopped at the entrance and took a deep breath, attempting to stop her loud outburst.

Shimmerpaw felt water and she looked up and gave a squeak of surprise "There's water in the den!"
