winterfern tried to wriggled her twister paw out og the roots. a loud CRACK! split the air. winterfern wailed. she tried to push herself up but failed. she slipped into unconsiosness. she felt her eyes begin to close. her last yowl was the loudest of them all. it reached for tail lenghth.

winterferns eyes slowly closed. she groaned softly and moved her legs. she pushed her self up. she turned and stumbled into a bramble bush. her eyes got scraped.
