    Carly was on her laptop researching topics for her school essay when the door opened. "Hey Sam" greeted Carly with out even looking away from her computer.

    "Nothing...looking up topics and research for the essay....did you even start on it yet?" she asked, looking away from her laptop and at Sam.

    "Mrs.Briggs is gonna kill you if you don't turn it in." she said, closing her laptop and setting it down on the coffee table.
