History: Alex's parents, birth name is Katherine (Kat), died in a plane crash and her only family, an uncle, died when she was fourteen in a car crash. She then became an orphan. She was adopted by the Daniel family and her last name became Rider-Daniels. She was targeted by bullies, as she was different, and got many false friends, who let her down. The false friends took a toll on her self-esteem. Her boyfriends were mostly jerks who wanted her for either s** or to win a bet. some cheated on her and her last boyfriend was abusive. They were not all bad, but it still shattered her trust. She ran away at the age of 18 and changed her name to Alex and going by Rider even though the record say Daniels. She was turned in by her boss, a vet, when he saw her scars and cuts.

She was injured when little and doctors say she might get her eyesight back slowly or might be blind forever. She's adapted easily though with enhanced senses. Hercules is also a seeing eye dog that she takes out in public.
