Mole looked up at the sky. "Zat way." He pointed. "Zere it is. Denver."

The two others stopped their bickering to follow Mole's gaze.
"So that is it? Isin't much of anything." Gregory scoffed, thinking it might have been more interesting.
Probably more mountains. Great."D--Denver?"
Pandora clutched to her belongings tightly, "What are we going there for."
She hadn't been listening when they agreed to go. -
"Whether it actually is Denver or not, we're going. Pandora needs rest." He said with another puff of smoke.
-
Gregory looked surprised, shooting Christophe as quick glance.
That was the oddest reason to him. Did the Mole have something bigger in store?
Or did he just need an excuse to stop and by more smokes?
He stared at him, trying to read his eyes.".... M--me? I'm not tired!"
Pandora protested, but startled by his statement. -
Mole shot her a deadly glance. If looks could kill, she would have been dead already... "You need rest. Tired or not."
-
Pandora opened her mouth to protest, but nearly had a heart-attack out of fear at his glare.
"O- OKAY!" She ducked away, quickly looking away from him.Gregory narrowed his eyes, trying to understand what was going on, looking to the Mole for an explaination.
-
Mole took one last breath of smoke before flicking it away. He walked into the town through an alleyway. He saw a familiar door and opened it. He once came here for instructions to get a mission. People who looked like stereotypical thugs sat at worn down tables. Some were smoking while others were drinking, some both. He walked straight up to the bar. Everyone nodding at Mole respectively as he passed.
-
Gregory stood close by with the Mole, not as comfortable.
His classy outlook caused a few whispers and snears.
I don't think I'll ever get used to this.... He ignored the glares and followed
Pandora following quickly behind in a hurried manner. -
"Heard anyzing?" He asked the bartender.
"No. But why are you here with a first class and a woman." Mole whispered something in his ear. He nodded slightly. "Can I get you three anything?" -
Gregory was suprised. Was this an actual bar? The boys (and from what he was assuming Pandora as well) were all fairly young, 9 at the least. Was it legal to sell drinks to kids in America?
What would mother think? He though scowlingly at himself before shaking the thought away.
"What do you have?" Greg asked with caution. -
"Well, I have-"
Mole stopped him before he could say anything. "Just give us two rooms. I will sort out the rest. One for ze lady and one for Brit and I."
"Alright, Mole." The bartender nodded, grabbing two keys from behind the bar. He tossed one to Pandora and slid one to Mole. Two men, being perverts, started grabbing for Pandora, offering up their room, earning a glare from Mole. Once earning the glare, they stopped and turned back. -
Pandora's face turned beat red once they got to the room, glad to be away from the men.
"Gee, people around here aren't too nice are they?'
She collapsed on a chair, running her fingers through her very messy hair."What's the plan, slick?" Greg asked once he was only in Mole's ear shot.
-
He pulled him into their room, shutting the door behind them. "We leave her here." He said queitly. "We get missions and work. She works here for money to get herself whatever she needs, okay?"
-
Gregory concidered this for a moment or two, glancing at the Mole.
"I suppose. But I'm not sure this is the best place for a young lady such as herself...
You saw how those men acted back there."
Gregory wasin't that fond of Pandora, for sure, but he was still very much a gentleman."I say, give her at least a few days -- see if she changes.
If not -- we ditch her." He offered. -
"You saw how afraid of me zey are. If they do anyzing to her, zey are as good as dead meat. Maybe then I could use them to keep zose d*mn dogs away from me." He looked into the direction, imagining it now.
-
Gregory was confused. He thought they where merely woking in this town.
Was he planning on staying here and keeping Pandora in their "home" as well?"What do you mean? We stay here, find things to do here and have Pandora pay for our staying here?" Gregory asked.
-
"More or less." He said, looking around the room. "But only for awhile."
-
Gregory thought for a moment or two before agreeing
"I'll trust you on this one. I figure you must have been here before." -
Mole nodded, pulling out a cig and holding out the box as if asking if he wanted one. "I basically own the place."
-
"You're the most interesting person I know, Mole." Gregory said as he took one and placed it inbetween his teeth as he spoke, "You're the only 9 year old boy that I know that can snap thugs into place." He held out his hand, as if to ask for a lighter.
