Feather leaps down from a tree. She lays down tiredly beside a bush. She looked totally different know. Her silver pelt was a dull gray and it clung to her body.

Ashstar's ears pricked up at the sound of a light thud above. She looked at the others, finding them busy, before she climbed her way back up the ravine. She scaled the area up top until she spotted Feather. "Feather?" She meowed in curiosity.
Tinypaw explored the ravine a bit, curious of every nook and cranny.
-
Feather looks up.
-
Ashstar stepped towards her, looking concerned. "Are you okay?" She meowed.
-
Feather twitches her ear. "My owner Rebecca left me." she meows.

Cinder stretched her hind legs as warmth spread over her body. She began leisurely ambling down the trodden path she took for moons. Cinder froze and sniffed the air as instinct told her. "Clan cats?" Cinder wondered aloud, her fur bristling in suprise. The forest seemed to whistle in reply.
"Mum said to stay away from clan cats. They can be bad." Repeated Cinder, thinking of her mom's advice when she departed to start her own life. Cinder was quite young, though. But the thought of a clan rang in her ears that it could be dangerous.
Her silvery grey pelt shimmered. The orange marks dappling her body seemed to blaze like fire. That's what her friends always wondered why those markings seemed to blaze. They would joke about it in varities of ways.
I want to see what clan life is like! Was the first thought in Cinder's head as she descended down the path causally, though becoming rushed with each pawstep. Cinder spotted what she believed were clan cats, though a few smelled of twolegs.
Cinder shrugged it off and peeked through nearby bushes. Her ears swiveled forwards as she craned her neck, anxious to see. The appearance of the clan camp nearly made her gasp in awe, (loudly), but she forced her mouth shut. -
Sparkfire went exploring her new home
-
Cinder's fur bristled uncomfortably. Instantly she hid in the bushes as the cat began their exploration. Cinder held her breath. What if she got caught? Slowly, she flattened herself against the ground and hid her nose cowardly.
Cinder carefully pricked her ears for any sounds. -
Sparkfire sniffed the air, strange smells assaulting her kittypet scent palet
-
Rooted to the spot, Cinder shut her eyes tightly. Her heart was beating loud enough that it rang in her ears. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep still too long. Her muscles twitching and stiff, she shifted. The scar on her forehead slightly hurt.
Cinder wanted relief to wash over her. These scared feelings were almost unbearable. But Cinder had to stay strong. -
"Hello?" Sparkfire had smelled a strange cat. "Who is here?"
-
Cinder gathered some bravery and spoke up. Her voice was quite shaky. "M-my name is Cinder.. I'm a loner." Cinder crept out of the bushes, her orange markings blazing like a wildfire. Despite that, she had a shimmering silver coat that glistened. It seemed to be losing its shine, though.
"Please don't hurt me.." Cinder trailed off, her ear twitching. She had intense amber blue eyes that glistening in the light. -
Sparkfire cocked her head in confusion. "Why would I hurt you?" she asked. "Your not doing anything wrong."
-
Cinder searched for words. Her mouth gaped open slightly as she was at a loss of words. Her claws unsheathed and dug into the ground, then sheathed. "Are you a c-clan cat?"
-
"Yup" Sparkfire smiled. "I am Sparkfire, warrior of Ashclan."
-
Cinder kneaded the ground. "I'm known as Cinder with my friends, but I departed my my mountain home and came to live in the forest. Nearby loners and kittypets rumored there were vicious cats that lived in clans." Cinder's eyes were brighter now, and strangely, a bright blue.
-
Sparkfire shook her head. "Clan cats arent evil or mean. But they do fight with each other."
-
"I guess those cats just don't understand.. I've already kind of lived clan life, except I was alone most of the time." Cinder cleared her throat. Her tail swept the ground in a impatient type of way, though that was not her current mood.
Shyly, Cinder mewed with a distant look in her eyes. "Are you accepting any cats in the clan...?" -
Sparkfire smiled. "I believe we are. I wold just have to find Ashstar and ask her"
-
"Okay." Cinder traced in the ground random claw marks anxiously. Cinder shook her head, and looked up with hesitance. "Why do you have names that are two words stuck together?" Cinder asked, curious of the meaning of the naming they did for clans.
