    Dark couldn't see anything through the tunnel. "Are you winning?" She asked. "How many are in there?" She asked another question, sniffing to see how many she could smell. The area reeked of fox, but she couldn't pin-point how many there was.

    "Ten of them?!" She gasped, trying to process the logical way that there was ten of them in there. Eight pups and two parents? Maybe one parent and nine pups? Or maybe there was two families of five in there?

    "How is that possible?" She asked herself, pacing outside the den. She was worried about Shadow not being able to climb out of the den if he survived. "Is there anything I can do to help you?" She asked, sticking her head into the den to check on him, knowing that she can't see anything.

    Dark nodded briskly, dashing around a oak tree, nearly coliding with a fox. She yelped, tumbling with the fox down a small ditch. They soon stopped, Dark on top, pinning the young fox to the ground, with nip at its neck, it wriggled free in fright and dashed off the territory, tail between his legs. Dark smiled, letting off a loud victory howl. She sniffed the air. After running a few moments, she found herself at another den entrance. She could vaguely hear the whines of foxes sprawling there way to the back entrance. Dark quickly jumped on top.


    Using her hind legs, she kicked up dirt to block the entrance. She heard a loud yelp, soon followed by more whinning. The foxes where trapped! There is no way they can get out.


    Suddenly, a fox bursted out of the dirt covered hole, freeing the rest of them. Dark let out a gasp. Two of the fox dashed around like headless chickens. Three broad shouldered foxes, surrounded Dark. Dark growled and snapped, but it was no use. They soon cornered her, the foxes snickering and snapping as they grew near. Their breath smelt of blood and rotten meat. Dark continued to back up, feeling the heat of their breath on her fur.

    "Yes got em"Shadow said as he pounced on two of the foxes distracted by dark.The frist one broke it's two front legs on a rock,and the second died because Shadow ripped it throut out.


    Back at the other entrance Rune was snapping at the last four foxes in the den.

    I WAS gonna go all 5 paracraph on their arses, but you killed them in less than a sentance.


    IC: Dark sighed, nodding a thanks to Shadow. Dark was trying to catch her breath when she noticed a redish pelted fox trembling in the bush. It was small, about a third of an adult foxes size. Dark walked over to it. She nudged it, making it tremble more. It began whimpering, calling for its mom, looking in the direction of the border. Dark followed her gaze, seeing a blood splattered body at the bottom of a revine. Remembering back to the cluster, the fox she crashed into was the fox at the bottom of the revine. Dark turned back to the pup, a look of sorrow crossed her face as the pup began shivering. She kneeled down to lick it's fur the wrong way, the shivering soon stopping. Dark smilled, sitting down, wrapping her tail around him as she continued to warm him. The pup laughed as Dark's wet tounge warmed him. Dark finally felt complete, having a little pup to care for and help him grow up to be a better wolf.... er, fox? Thats beside the point. The fact is, she felt loved. But what would Shadow say? Will he kill the pup on the spot, dooming Dark to endless suffering? Or will he be a kind wolf, letting the young fox live with the pack, learn it's ways, and grow up as a wolf?


    The choice is your's...
    Kill him
    Or
    Save him.

    I was going to choose that anyway even if you said kill.


    IC: Dark swung around, startled by Shadow's sudden appearance. "It's a pup. He's the only survivor from the attack. I killed his mother..." Dark put in, looking blankly into the gully. "He's alone and needs somewhere to stay. Can he stay with me? In camp?" She asked, looking back to the gully.

    Dark nodded, licking the foxes fur again. "Thank you." Dark said, smiling.


    Gotta think of a name, gotta think of a name....

    "I'm not sure yet." Dark answered Shadow, picking up the pup by the scruff and carrying it to camp.

    Dark could feel the pup's heartbeat speed up as they began walking. He began to squirm, trying to free himself from Dark's grip.
