  • Jessica followed, her heels clipping loudly on the steps and on the linolium on the school floor. "Edgar Hill," she repeated. "Doesn't ring a bell." She usually knew a lot of the Seeker's names, once getting into their organization, but that was a while ago. "I wish we could've met on better circumstances, Jason. I'm Jessica Patterson." She veered a hard right into the hallway, not very far from a light jog. "My classroom's this way, I told them to go there. Hopefully Sydney's there, too."
(I'll reply to her next, I missed your post!)

Edgar impatiently tapped his foot. What was taking them so long? He looked down the hall and saw a smaller girl walk into the classroom. Carefully, he walked towards the door and looked in. His targets were arguing for a moment, then they leaped through the window. His eyes opened wide with excitement. Here, the chase began. Once they cleared the sill, he opened up the door. Quickly, he jumped through the window. Going at a fast walk, the Seeker went towards the edge of town.

  • Once the two reach the warehouse they sit down and pant. "That was a pong walk." Ulrich complains. He looks at his friend and stands up. He reached down to help her up and they head into the building.

  • (I got it, then :3)

"Sydney!" the teacher exclaimed, seeing the young girl with plant book in hand. "Listen, no time to explain, but go home, quickly. I'll come over later to make sure you're safe. And whatever you do, don't talk to a man with black hair and dark eyes. He'll have a leather jacket, too." She paused, putting a comforting hand on the girl. "Just don't be flashy, if you know what I mean." Without another word, Jessica clipped towards her room, the door open. She rushed in to a quiet classroom, a breeze coming through the window. "No, no, no," the teacher muttered. Then, she saw a lanky shape briskly walking into the distance. "There!" she pointed. "They're going to the warehouse. That's where I told Yumi and Ulrich to go."

Edgar followed the kids' trail cautiously, trying to stay out of sight as best he could. In the distance, a rusted building rose out of the tree line. Excited, the Seeker began to jog.

  • Yumi and Ulrich okay around with their powers in the warehouse. Getting no actual training done. Ulrich races around Yumi and she tries to lift him from the ground. A sort of game.

  • "I think that's him," Jason growled, picking up speed to a fast jog, wanting to run. Something glinted in his hands; a spark of fire that played amongst his fingers joyfully.

  • Jessica watched Jason go out the window as well, jogging after Edgar. "Wait up!" the teacher called. She took off her blue heels and tried to catch Jason, her bare feet scraping the ground.

Edgar reached the warehouse, hearing a commotion from within. Stealthily, he spied both Yumi and Ulrich, using their powers in the rusted building. He grinned like a fox and treaded lightly into dusty clearing. His mind whirling, ready to fling objects at his will, the Seeker said loudly, "Well now, this is more perfect than I could've asked for."

  • Yumi whips around. Ulrich stops and stands by her. "And who, are you?" Ulrich growls. He knew he should have brought his katana. Too late now. He steps in front of Yumi protectively.

  • "Ah, enough with introductions," the man snapped. "You don't really need to know much. You probably already know, in fact." He saw the look in the boy's eyes, the murderous glare. Edgar had seen that too many times to date. "I figured giving you a choice is pointless, seeing almost everyone resists. So, let's see how far you've come, kiddies." With a half-smile, a chain hurled down from the ceiling and a barrel from the corner. Their impacts, deadly.

  • Ulrich looks up and speeds away, dragging Yumi with him. He releases Yumi. "Make him fly!" He snarls. Yumi puts her fingers to her temples and a purple glow surrounds her. She attempts to use the power to send a barrel hurtling into Edgar.

  • She was confused but went to the abandon building she called home it used to be a flower shop so it was full of flowers she saw them and made them bloom

  • "Oh, c**p," Jason muttered as he came to a stop about a dozen feet away from Edgar, outside of the building. He ignited his hands, slightly burning the ends of the sleeves of his hoodie.

  • Edgar felt the weight of the girl's powers against his own. "Ha!" he laughed, the sound echoing around the building. "You honestly think you can beat me at my own game." Yumi was strong for her age, he gave her that. But he had the experience, the training, so the barrel began to move back towards her, slower than the Seeker would've liked. Seeing a crowbar by the doorway, Edgar sent to his hands stalking to the boy and girl.
A sizzling caught his attention, and the Seeker turned around, his brown eyes wide. "Jason?" he growled. "You little son of a (beep!). Do have have to catch you again? This is really time consuming." A metal clang sounded above the Talent's head, the frame of the large doorway collapsing.

Jessica panted, just barely catching up to the flaming Jason. She looked up, and opened her mouth wide. "Look out!" she yelled, tugging on the man's hood.

  • Yumi loses concentration. She looks up and see the barrel flying towards her. She helps as it sends her flying to the wall. She lands iwth a thud and lay there. Ulrich growls and races for Edgar. He slides last moment to try and knock the seekers eegs out from under him.

  • Jason got out of the way just in time, but a piece of the metal scraped against his cheek near the cheekbone. Jason gritted his teeth in pain and glared at Edgar. "Leave these kids alone," he growled, warming up his hands [not rubbing them together, just heating them up a bit] and sent fire towards Edgar in the form of a fiery dragon[just to make it sound pretty lol].
