  • Aslan ventured out to catch a meal to bring back. He bunched his muscles tightly and lowered his belly to the ground. He had a greedy eye on a marshland rabbit; He had spent most Chasing It Across the Moor. Wich It only gave him lack of confidence that this would be his last successful pounce. His beady eyes where starved and hungry, Looking forward to this large kill. Aslan had little resistance under the force to hold back, He would have let it go if the forest served him more opportunities. But today He was hopeless. For this rabbit to be only thing available, He was willing to hunt it down. But after chasing it across the moor, He had also lacked energy. Aslan kept a steady stare on the rabbit. Quietly, He stalked into a patch of dry-land vegatation for a solid camouflage. His small compacted figure sunk easily between the crowded clovers. He raised his head slightly above the clovers so that He wouldn't lose his glare on it. Softly, He raised her paw in front of him and risked a step forward. The rabbit was still busy scuffling at a plant stem, He was lucky it's undivided attention wasn't on him. Unfortunatly, his Luck broke when he gently laid his paw into place. The clovers crunched under his wieght and the rabbit's large ears cornered towards him. Aslan Coward and lowered his head between the stems. FoxDung....! His eyes where blocked by a staggered pattern of Plants, but he managed to keep an eye on the fluffy cotton tail. The moment only got worse when the clovers tilted and seemingly made everything visable but the prey. When he shifted to get a better look, Aslan regretted ever making the move. When he could finally balance his vision on his Kill, It's black pearly eyes where staring right into his. That was it. All ruined. Aslan flicked his paws, stretching out his hindlegs in attempt to pounce. Now risking his exposure, the moorland rabbit fleed between the crevices of an underbrush. He snapped and sped after it, pushing through the undergrowth before the hint of rattling in the bush could disappear.

Aslan's paws drummed against the forest floor, gaining quickly on the Rabbit's Hindlegs. The rabbit darted in a staggered pattern, Heading straight towards a wall of vines. Aslan was to focused on the kill to notice. Just as he began to inch even closer, It made a sharp right turn and vanished in a Rose bush. Aslan's Undivided attention never thought about the rose bush. He quickly flicked his paws in the direction of the bush and lept into the Crowd Of Roses. Aslan Screeched and toppled out the other side. Sharp pains darted through his veins and he glanced over at all the Rose bush thorns that pinched her coat. " Mouse Dung!" he spat outloud, watching the last of the Rabbit disappear behind an Underbrush.

Aslan was disappointed in His effort. He was looking forward to a rabbit to bring back To Molly. But obviously not. He sighed and sniffed at the thors, pinching his teeth at it and yanking them out one by one. afterwards, it did made him feel awfully sore. But he was willing to hunt to please his call for starvation. He agreed that Molly was just as starved as he was. He staggered to his paws and titled his head back. Inhaling the air greedily in a desperate attempt to find capture another scent of prey. Nothing came to him, he stretched his mouth a little to let the air flow more freely to his senses, hoping he would actually get something. Nothing. Aslan sighed and went out for a little stroll in wonder if he might just find something in his sticky reach. He didn't get anything for a moment, but than flecks of brown tawny spots began to flit and flutter around. He grinned at the sight of young chickidees. They where hardly any bigger than his palm. But in his hunger, it looked much more savoring than usual. Aslan Lowered into a crouch, released himself and darted after them. The screeches of little bird split the clean air. He sunk his dagger like claws into it's wing, watching it amusingly as it twisted and tried to fly away under his hold feebly. Aslan took a killing nip to it's neck and looked for another chickadee that hadn't flown away with the others. He spotted one just about to take flight, he quickly took action and held down it's wings in a tight hold. Then he niped it' neck and watched it flop over, dead, in his paws. Aslan looked up and grinned triumphantly. He then turned around, stuffed both birds in his jaws and trotted back.

    OOC; I know it's long :)

  • Molly spotted him. "aslan! I was getting worried. And- oh, you found some!" she said running to him. She purred happily and her long white tail flicked.

Her firey orange eyes locked onto the chickadee. Her soft tawny-patched white fur was growing thinner.
