  • Ooc; Now isn't that such an original name for the topic xD I'll change it if you want.

    Ic; Saltt, a long haired tabby she-cat, was sunning herself on a rock. The sky was clear and the sun was shining. She never really did a lot in her life. It was actually quite boring, and she never got any visitors or company anyway. A nearby river churned quietly in the soft breeze, an occasional fish appeared at the waters crest. What a beautiful morning.

  • {Awh its alright, couldn't of thought of anything better XD Thanks for making the thread ! ^^}

    Revolver, a handsome black solid, crept through the grass. He smelt a she-cat- which he hoped was his next victim- err, friend. His tail low and in a casual position, he sat down on the ground below her. "Hello," he meowed, after clearing his throat. He blinked up with hazel eyes, waiting patiently for a reply. The faintest of smug smiles lingered over his maw.

  • Ooc; Thanks, and no problem. =)

    Ic; Saltt opened her eyes to the sound of another cat's voice. A deep one, indicating immediately that it was a male. Her gaze flicked down below where she had been sunning herself, only to see the lean body of a black tom. Now what was she just thinking about? Having no company; wow, this was such a jinx, just to her luck. She blinked and greeted him politely, "Hello," Saltt's voice cracked at the end of her single word, having not spoken to anyone in a while.

  • Revolver blinked, looking at her with concern. "Are you alright?" He asked. He was clearly curious about why her voice was cracking. It didn't sound like she was upset, but sick possibly. He sat down, looking up at her expectantly. A cool breeze blew through his fur, making him shiver slightly.

  • "I'm fine," Saltt responded with another croak. She wasn't much of the social type, so it didn't naturally come to her and tell her to say something else. But she forced herself to anyway, "My name's Saltt," the she-cat said and fell quiet again.

  • Revolver nodded, shifting his weight. "Nice to meet you." He meowed with a breath. "I'm Revolver." He introduced, bowing his head so slightly. "Its a pleasure to meet you," he said with a small smirk.

  • Revolver? Saltt thought that name was pretty cool, but was it supposed to mean anything? "Pleasure to meet you too.." she said, flicking her tail. The cracks in her voice soon dissolved and her mew became smooth.. er, smoother. Saltt noticed the odd smirk on his face, she slowly withdrew herself a bit, begining to show some distrust.

  • Revolver blinked at the signs of her distrust, but it didn't faze him. He usually got that before he whipped the catnip out. He recomposed himself, straightening his posture. "You live around here?" He asked with the tilt of his head. In his tone was no unkindness, just curiousness.

  • Saltt gave him a curt nod, "Yeah. In an abandoned fox den on the other side of the river," she said and flicked her tail towards the burrow. She felt her stomach quietly growl in hunger and unsatisfaction. "Do you?" she asked, returning his question bluntly.

  • "Nope, I wander around. Looking for...cats." He replied with a slight yawn. He looked her over, seeing that she looked pretty hungry; her ribs showing through her thick fur. Bingo..

  • Wandering around looking for cats? "Thats nice.. I guess," Saltt said and got up, shaking her fur. Time for her lunch; "I'm going hunting.. Do you wanna come?" the she-cat asked. Having company wasn't all that bad, and she might get to know the tom a bit.

  • Revolver nodded with a friendly smile, leaping up onto the rock next to her. "Sure, I don't see why not," he replied, shaking his pelt.

  • Ooc; Do you just wanna skip the hunting?

    Ic; "Alright," Saltt said and looked behind her, into the thick forest. That was usually where most prety was hiding, and it wasn't hard to catch them either.

  • {Don't see why not c:}

    Revolver followed, smelling the air. With a quick movement, he landed on a mouse, ending its life quickly. "I react fast." He explained, hiding the mouse under a pile of pebbles. He wondered if he should suggest splitting up so he could find some catnip to stuff some prey with.

  • Saltt watched the tom, he was probably ten times better than her, but she didn't really care. But she also didn't want him to see her poor hunting skills, "Hey.. Why don't we separate then come back here with our prey?" Saltt asked and started to inch away slowly.

  • Revolver nodded with a small smile to state that he was alright with her. "Okay," He replied softly. "I'll see you in an hour or so?" He meowed. Even though it was a question, he didn't wait for a reply. He jumped into the bushes and was off.

  • "Sure.." Saltt mumbled after him and turned around to hunt. She padded off into the depths of the forest, and by the time it was almost time to go back, she had caught only caught 3 birds. Saltt looked at her prey in dismay and began to pad back to the clearing, hoping this would be enough.

  • Revolver had caught a few birds himself as well as a vole and a hare. He took the hare and stuffed it with catnip; the fresh kill scent covering it up. He brought them back to her rock, waiting silently. He would share the hare with her, and then, it would be fun time.

  • Saltt padded towards Revolver, seeing all the prey he had caught made her heart sink. She had only caught this less prey, and he had caught all that; as she stopped by the rock, she dropped the prey in front of him, "Sorry.." she muttered and sat down.

  • [align=center][font=verdana]"No, don't be." He replied warmly, pushing her kill and his to the side with his tail. "Your used to only catchib prey for yourself," he mused to make her feel better. "Oh, and I got something for us to share..." he mewed with a small tinge of shyness, nosing the rabbit towards her.
