Packs of the Okami(based on the game){sign up thread}

    This thread is based upon Okami, a game on the wii, it is also based on Okamiden, the sequel to Okami. You do not need to have played Okami before to play.


    There was peace for years and years after Chibiterasu, the son of the great sun goddess Amaterasu, saved the lands of Nippon from the dreaded Dark Lords. Soon, the descendants of Amaterasu, including Chibi, began to live in Nippon. They had lives like normal wolves since they were not truly gods, and couldn't live in the heavens. But, these descendants of Amaterasu were very powerful and Nippon couldn't take this power. So the gods built a new world for them called The Lands of the Okami, or, the Holy Land. Unfortunately, Yami was still alive, but just barely, he decided to take revenge, in a different way. He made darkness creep into these young pups' hearts and take over their bodies, but this took a tow on Yami and he finally died. Then, there was a great division; after a war between the ones that the darkness had taken over and the holy ones, two packs arose: The Taiyo pack, pack of the sun with the normal wolves and the Tsuki pack, pack of the moon with the dark wolves. The gods, unfortunately, were preoccupied and didn't see this coming. They did, however, believe that both packs had a right to live and hoped that they could sort this out. They gave the wolves a way to communicate with them. The mirror of Shinseina, or the mirror of the holy.


    Each pack hates the other, the Tsuki's hate are driven by the darkness of Yami that resides within them and the Taiyo's hate is driven by the fact that there is darkness within the other pack. These packs live like normal wolves, they hunt, get tired, get thirsty, can mate and are not immortal. Every time a new alpha is chosen they must go to the mirror of Shinseina to obtain their true powers. The pack of Tsuki are unable to turn any of the pack of Taiyo into one of them. The darkness is passed down by birth and gives them the ability to use the moonlight to attack and increase their strength. The Taiyo pack gain their power from the sunlight and uses it to increase their strength. The darkness in the pack of Tsuki's heart is controlled and even. The Tsuki's are more powerful in physical combat but weaker in mental combat. These wolves have the power of telepathy and enchanted senses. The alphas of each pack have the ability to call upon the celestial brush and bring the moon or sun into battle.

    Territories:
    The land of Okami is a huge forest. The border between the two territories is a long stream and the mirror of Shinseina is at the end of the stream. The Taiyo territory is in the west and the Tsuki territory is in the east. There are marshes in the forests and all sorts of animals. The camps of each pack is in the very center of each territory.

    Appearance: a silver-ish white wolf that has bright gold eyes.
    History: she watched as tsuki wolves tortured and then killed her parents. She then decided that she wanted to be the best fighter for Taiyo ever.
    Mate: still searching.
    Personality: bright and peppy and a great fighter. However, has been developing a disturbing need of purity and thinks that the tsuki need to be cleared from the land.

    History: was born into tsuki with an excessively large amount of hatred in his heart. Got the scar from when he found a Taiyo pup and started torturing it for fun. The pup lashed out at his eye out of self defense and scampered away.

    Personality: kind of sadistic, but very loyal towards tsuki. Aspires to be alpha one day.
