    Elyse looked over to Scarlet, who seemed to startle her from her thoughts. "Scarlet, what's wrong...?" She asked in concern.

    " I've just been sitting here crying for the past idk 4 hours! And i was waiting for u to come here so i can ask u if u want to go to the yule ball with me as friends.... And to tell u not to fall for Cody." she said very sad and angry all mixed emotions.

    Elyse sighed and sat onto her bed, rubbing her blue eyes in tiredness."What's the point? He barely even knows I exist..." She laughed bitterly.

    " You still like him same with me and im idiotic for that.... Even tho he turned me down, i'm going with my friend.!" she said in confidence.

    Cody let out a low sigh. He couldn't sleep, so he didn't try, just pulled a rope out from under his bed. Tying it around a wood frame, he slipped the heavy rope out the window, grabbing it and rappeling down.

    {Time skip to morning!}



    Nicole did her daily routineget dressed, brush teeth, brush hairand grabbed her her wand, leaving her dorm to the Great Hall. Once there, she was surprised to see that she was accually early. Shrugging, she sat at the Ravenclaw table and put an egg sandwich on her plate.

    Ember got up in the morning, refreshed despite her exploration during the night. She brushed her teeth, got dressed, brushed her hair, and checked the clock. There was still time before breakfast, so she sat down with her book on second year hexes and counter-curses. Some she could already do...

    Cody was halfway up climbing the rope back into his room when he heard vioces, students going out onto the grounds. He would have to hurry if he were to make it up.

    Ember checked the clock again. It was almost breakfast time. She headed out of her dorm, and towards the great hall. She walked silently even now, and soon reached her destination. She sat at the Slytherin table and got some bacon and toast.

    Nicole poked at her food, for some reason feeling a bit dizzy. She leaned to the side, resting her head in the palm of her hand.

    Ember ate, and as she ate she glanced across to the Ravenclaw table. A girl sitting there looked a little strange, resting her head in her hands. Ember winced, hoping the girl was okay.

    Climbing in through the window, Cody quickly got dressed, making his way down to the great hall. Almost instantly, he saw Nicole, and his whole face lit up, until he took a second look. Walking over, concerned, he asked- "You alright?"

    Nicole, looked over her shoulder and found Cody, looking concerned. "Yeah, just tired," she said, exaggerating.

    "Nothing, I'm fine," Nicole assured. "I'll be at Defense Against the Dark Arts if you need me."
