• Welcome to HeatherClan

    Rules
[li]Everyone is equal here, yes, the leader is in charge and her law must be followed, but... that does not give me the right to abuse my power.[/li]

[li]To join, you must fill out an application at Character Forum.[/li]

[li]Please respect all to's and don'ts of the website, no cursing is allowed, and please, do not kill another cat unless it is okay'd by the owner/role player of the cat. If there is a problem, please message me and tell me about it, if another role player is harassing you. If I get two legitimate complaints about the person, I will ban them from the role play threads. I hope I make that clear.[/li]

[li]If you were invited, please invite other people to join as well. As many as will fit. If needed I can make more positions. Please, please join![/li]

[li]You're allowed to play as up to three cats in this role play on one condition. The cat's cannot be all warriors, all apprentices, all medicine cats, all elders, or all nursing queens. You have to allow room for creativity to flow. :) However, you can have say, a warrior, an apprentice, and a queen. Eventually, they'll all be warriors.[/li]

[li]I don't just want all warriors. There has to be apprentices, queens, and elders too. Shoot, even kits! I know there's not a kit column, but that's because in the book the kits are placed with their mother. I don't want a bunch of stray kittens either. If there's no queen, but there's two mother-less kits already, please do not make another mother-less kit.[/li]

[li]There will be a limit on outsiders in Heather Clan territory, the limit is four. This includes Kittypets, Loners/Rogues, and non-clanners. I know it's all the rage and stuff, but I am making a limit because i want actual warriors and stuff for the clan, not just outsiders. Thank you.[/li]

[li]I know I'm coming up with a lot more rules now, sorry just coming up with them as I go. I'd like everyone to know that the Members page Character Forum is also going to be for chatting. Where you can discuss crushes, you can suggest ideas, mentors, etc. And please, feel free to message me should you be confused or have any questions or concerns.[/li]

[li]Elders must be at least ninety-six moons old to qualify for the elder's den. Senior warriors (those are speecial and have a * by their name in the warriors section, must be at least sixty moons old. Yay![/li]

[li]Last rule I promise. To prevent confusion with ages and such, I propose that every other week we'll have a moon go by. So... next week will be half moon (on friday of next week), and then the following friday will be a full moon, therefore the cats all age one moon. Okay? Great![/li]

The Camp Details (Sorry No Pictures.)

The Leader's Den ; A den that is made from twisting together brambles and heather to make a cocoon shaped hideout. The opening allows for a view over the nursery and apprentice den.

The Warrior Den ; A den made from a huge tree that had collapsed on top of a large jutting rock and was wedged there. Branches hang down to provide a sense of privacy from the elements and prying eyes. Well protected, faces the entrance to camp.

The Apprentice Den ; Made much the same way as the Leader's den only with tree branches left over from the warrior den instead of bramble. A narrow, apprentice sized hole sits close to the ground, nearest the nursery for easy access by the apprentices.

The Nursery ; A den made from a hollowed out log over an old badger set. Although underground, this den is roomy and well cooled for the queens and their kits, it is also very well hidden in case of an attack.

The Elder Den ; A den that was made fairly close to the medicine den, it is made into the side of the hill (once an old mine, now collapsed half way). The entrance is hidden with loose rocks, though it is nice and comfortable for the elders.

The Medicine Den ; A den made from an abandoned mine shaft, it had a water pool and plenty of nooks in the rocks for herbs. It is spacious enough, considering it's in the hillside, but the medicine cat doesn't seem to mind it.

  • The pale tortoiseshell she-cat blinked open her eyes calmly and yawned, stretching from her nest with her paws out in front of her. She'd heard noises that could only mean the moon high patrol had left to patrol the grounds. Casually, as she always did, she wondered if she should ask Russethaze to send out a hunting patrol the next night, that way there'd be fresh kill on the pile for warriors and elders waking up from their fast.

Slipping from her den, the tortoiseshell leader stretched her lithe body once more and padded to the meeting spot where she generally called the clan together for ceremonies and meetings. She smiled a little, it was late, there was really no need to call a meeting this late at night. She blinked her eyes to adjust them to the dimmer light of the camp before she headed towards the medicine den. Whenever she was having a hard time falling asleep, she'd go to the medicine cat for advice on whatever it was that was troubling her.

What is troubling me though? She asked herself and paused just outside the medicine den. The she-cat hadn't the slightest idea what it was that could be troubling her. Frowning, she turned back and padded gingerly back towards her den, sneaking back into it without making a sound.

    _______@>----'-----______

Meanwhile, in the apprentice den, a dark golden tabby was also having some trouble staying asleep. She mewled softly like a young, one moon old kit missing it's warm mother's milk. She didn't know her mother, but she did remember the mother-fox who'd raised her like it's own kit. In a series of growls and hurrs, the she-cat called to her deceased mother-fox.

In the distance of her dream, she could see the she-fox, always close but never within tails length. With a dissatisfied huff the she-cat raced towards the fox, "Mama, don't leave me!" She wailed and kicked in her sleep.

  • (I'll join, can my character be thistlepaw? its a pale gray she-cat with ginger patches and pale gray eyes. could she be medicine apprentice?)

Can you please go to the member's (Characters Forum)? This one is specifically for the role playing.

  • Cinder was perched on her fence, staring out at the woods. Today, I'm going to explore! She thought and hopped off of her boundary, padding curiously into the forest.

When I was a young boy I was honest and I had more self control if I was tempted I would run on. But now I'm having trouble differentiating between what I want and what I need to make me happy.

    ---------------------------------------

Owlfeather sat in the medicine cat's den, nose twitching arrogantly "Wake up already you slug-butt" He murmured, tail flicking impatiently for his mentor to wake up.

    ---------------------------------------

'Cause I lie, not because I want to, but because I need to all the time. Yeah I lie and I don't even know it maybe this is all a part of my...flawed design.

  • (Ashtail, Shadepaw, Russethaze. phew gotta get used to names...)

Russethaze was sitting high above in a tree, his eyes were set on Cinder. Although he couldn't scent her from where he was perched, his eyes didn't decieve him. She was clearly a kittypet, her carelessness was clear to him. All he had to think about now was a plan.

Shadepaw lay grooming herself in camp, it was always hard caring for her thick coat.

Ashtail padded over to the fresh kill pile, his stomach grumbled as he reached to take something.

(There we go, jumping right in! :P)
