Future plot = she starts watching a player dude (I can play him...) one of those guys that talked about her before, she breaks up with Chase for a while before discovering that the other guy is really a jerk.... do you like it?

He hid a smile. "My lady, what would you like?" he asked, meaning ice cream.

He nodded and paid up. The boy behind the counter smiled as he handed it to her.

Chase nodded his thanks to the guy, someone he knew. "No problem, miss." the boy said.
