  • Alice tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear before sighing, sliding her purple backpack higher up her shoulder. 'C'mon Alice, your okay' she told herself but on the inside she was freaking out. First day of school was always the worst. She saw a empty seat next to another student. "Is this seat taken?" she asked him in a gentle voice.

  • Niko pressed his head against his arm and sighed.

  • "Thanks." she smiled shyly and sat down as she quietly took out her notepad, textbook, and a number 2 pencil.

  • Niko crossed his legs, and flinched as the teacher slapped a ruler against his hand. "Attention, Mr. Brunswick!"

  • Alice quickly snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the slap of the ruler and looked down at her paper and picked up her pencil, clenching it a little in her hand.

  • Niko rolled his eyes at the superior.

She grabbed him roughly by the arm.

"That's it, Brunswick! Detention, and the Principal's!"

  • Denny sent a hopeless gaze at Alice. He stared at the new girl from his seat on the other side of her, his big green eyes twinkling. His frown slowly turned into a warm smile and he smoothed his brown hair over and flipped his bangs from his eyes.

  • Alice watched, thinking that it was unfair that the teacher was sending him to the principals office when he really didn't do anything wrong and sighed, brushing her raven colored bangs out of her green eyes. She stared back down at her paper, and began to write.

  • Niko patiently sat in the office of the Principal.

  • Denny smiled at the girl. He was popular and pretty much all the girls loved him. So why wasn't the newbie swooning over him just by sight? With a slight grin he extended his hand. "Hello." He said quietly, his deep husky voice entrancing and his gorgeous green eyes enchanting.

  • Alice looked out the classroom window, wishing to be outside, enjoying the fresh air instead of being cooped up in a classroom learning about things she would probably never use later on in life. She watched as a mama bird took care of her 3 baby birds and smiled.

  • She looked up at him shyly. "Hello." she said to him, tapping her pencil on her desk.

  • Denny smiled, his lips pursing as he looked at her. An interest flickered in his eyes. "I'm Denny Horne. And you are?" He took her hand as he introduced himself, shaking it. His hand was warm and large, and had a cozy softness to it.

  • "Im Alice, Alice Bennett." she said as she shook his hand and gave him a friendly smile.

  • Denny looked at her. "Alice? What a lovely name." His words were the truth, he definitely meant what he said. He gazed at her, better yet into her and found himself smiling brightly. "It's nice to meet you, Alice." He leaned down, kissing her hand charmingly. He smirks at her.

  • She blushed and looked at him, her green eyes had almost like a sparkle in it. She smiled a shy smile.

  • Denny smiled when he realized he had already charmed her. He ran a hand along her blushed cheeks and grinned at her. "New girl, huh?"

  • "Yep." she said in a gentle voice as she chuckled a bit. "I heard your 'the popular one', how come your talking to the new girl?" she asked him curiously.

  • Denny smirked. "Ah, so you've heard about me? And why not talk to the new girl? She's beautiful, seems to have a good sense of humor, and I've taken quite an interest in her. Oh, and by the way she's you. I just gave you four reasons why to talk to the new girl." He winks.
