    Mapleglade felt the pains in her stomach rise and her paws clenched.
    "Oceanbranch! Its time!" she said loudly, hoping her mate would hear her. He came racing through the entrance then sat right by Mapleglade. With one hard push, first kit arrived. Oceanbranch began licking her. Before long, the other two kits came. Mapleglade collapsed, panting. Oceanbranch cleaned them then put them right next to Mapleglade. "lets name this one Dawnkit" Oceanbranch insisted. "and this one Riverkit.". Mapleglade nodded then looked over at the last unnamed kit. "Jinglekit" she said quietly.

    Dawnkit yowled pitifully and edged closer to her mothers warm fur.

    Mapleglade let her kits suckle as she regained her strength. "Oceanbranch, can you get me a fish?" She asked.

    Dawnkit nursed until her tiny belly could hold no more, then she fell into a deep sleep.

    Mapleglade smiled then got up to mingle with the other warriors.
