    "That apprentice is a failure! He's only been in battle 3 times and all times he's fled before he chased off even one enemy! If he was better he would deserve to stay in our strong clan!",he hissed back. Bloodsky flicked his tail toward you and three of the biggest warriors stood, looking at you with their claws unsheathed. "Now.. you've been given an order by your leader, are you going to do it? Or get killed along with him?",he said giving you no choice.

    Everyone stared at you except Sabercloud and Fernstorm who were smiling at you. Even the leaders were surprised. "You.. are the first cat who has not killed when commanded. There will be more times we ask this of you, and you will not always be given this option.. are you ready for that?",Frostgaze asked slowly.

    "Alright.. he shall be your apprentice, welcome to the clans.",the leaders said as they jumped down from the mossy rock and went back into their dens. Sabercloud and Fernstorm ran up to you smiling wider, while everyone else went into small groups around the camp. "Your the first one who's done that!",Sabercloud said admiringly. Fernstorm nodded her eyes wide with happiness. "Yes, every cat here has killed when commanded.. though most are born to it now, so they think it's natural in our life.",she said sadly.

    "Thank you...." she said to Bloodsky. Then she turned to Sabercloud and Fernstorm. "That's sad... I can't kill... having mercy.... I have a confession..." she sighed.

    "I used to be member of Bloodclan. I got banished because I refused to kill my sister... she had gone off with another cat, a forbidden love... and... I came here... and I'd been living as a loner since. But then I met you guys." she meowed. "I'd been born where you were supposed to kill a cat, a cat that had a wonderful life to live, to become a warrior... I just knew what was right.." she sighed.

    They shook their heads. "Well you found a clan just like it..",they said to you sadly. "But if you do well with your apprentice, maybe they won't ask you to. They usually pick two cats that they don't find worthy and pin them against eachother. And if you refuse they ask their followers to finish off them both, or atleast the one that refused.",Sabercloud said softly. Fernstorm looked at us. "But it wasn't always like this, one 4 seasons ago we were a noble clan, that wouldn't harm a fly.",she said hopefully.

    "Maybe... we could change that! We could take a stand. If... you're up to it. I'll make that apprentice better that Bloodsky." she said, determined.

    They nodded enthusiastically. "Yes that's a great idea. But we need to keep it a secret, there are cats who'd join us, but there are also alot of Bloodsky's and Frostgaze's followers."Sabercloud warned.

    "That's a great idea! Let's call it, Knowingclan!" she said with a bounce. "As in we know when to give mercy, and when not to." she purred

    Fernstorm looked up like she was surprised you heard her. Sabercloud looked at her. "Yes that is a good idea, we'll secrectly recruit the cats from IrisClan and RavageClan!",she whispered. "Then when all of the bad cats are defeated we can turn IrisClan into the great clan it was!",she said excitedly.

    Sabercloud nodded and so did Fernstorm. "We don't have apprentices but we'll try to get ones when the kits are old enough. Our clan kills cats that are useless so we don't have elders, but we do have an elders den. That can be our base of operations, for KnowingClan. No one goes in there, anyway.",Sabercloud said.
