Shadow was surprised when they told him to go into the ambulance.

Riley still cried, tears falling down her cheeks.
She had a good reason to dislike hospitals. -
Shadow climbed into the ambulance.

Riley didn't wake.
She just wouldn't let herself. -
He put his arm on his leg, and cupped the chin of his face with his hand. He sighed. The bumping was annoying.

Riley was forced awake by his strong presence.
SHe said nothing and glared at him. -
He didn't say anything either.

The straps on her arms and legs were tight.
She could tell their would be bruises there the next day. -
Shadow waited for her to say something.

Riley took a small angry breath.
I hate you. You know that? I was doing perfectly fine, and now I'm strapped to gurney on my way to a mental hospital. -
"No, I don't think attempting to kill yourself is okay. And the hospital isn't for mentals. It's for that wound you gave yourself."

Yeah but when they notice its self inflicted ill be sent to a mental hospital. All thanks to you.

She stood up. "You wanna be a smarta**? I can give you something to smile about!" she growled.

She growled. "Why must you torture me! I never did anything to you!" It was easy to tell she was forcing back tears, by the way her voice cracked.
