  • Jazzy slowed from her crazy run, panting slightly. It had been a while since she had just gone all out wild running. It felt nice. She looked at the looming building and looked at Iron. "Okay we will have to be quiet and fast. Some of these cats aren't so friendly with sharing their food." The first stop would be a rather laid back cat. He hardly ate out of his food bowl anyway.

She stopped next to a low fence, the bowl sitting on the back of the pourch. She couldn't see the massive tom any where. She looked towards Iron and flickered her tail towards the food bowl. He should go first, so if they ran into trouble later he would be full.

  • He walked up to her, then stepped towards the bowl. He slowly lowered his head and took a bite, chewing slowly to get used to this taste. He had only tasted kittypet food a few times before, but at that time he was desprate for a meal, so he had no choice, but to deal with it.

  • Jazzy sat near Iron, keeping a look out for the kitty pet that actually ate out of this dish. The scent of the tom was stale, meaning he hadn't been here for a while, probably early morning. She sighed, at least Iron would get something good to eat. She already needed to think of the next place, some place far away.

  • Iron quickly gobbled up the food and backed away. "Do you need to eat?" He asked, his green gaze locked on Jazzy. He cared for this she-cat more then anyone he had ever met before, so he wanted to make sure that she was kept safe. And part of that was making sure she didn't starve. "If you don't want to eat this, I could go hunt for you."

  • Jazzy grinned at him. "I do but I know another place where there is some more food. I don't want to make you do something hard when I have an easy solution! We should probably leave though, the cat that lives here will be back soon." Jazzy looked around her and began to pad off. "It isn't far I promise. Then we can go back and do whatever!" This was turning out to be an amazing day.

  • He nods and follows. It was strange walking around with a cat that wasn't scared of Twoleg Place, but he was okay with it. This was the nicest cat he had met in a long time. And he didn't meet many cats like that anymore. There was a small group of rouges that had terrorized him many moons before, but he hadn't seen from them in a long time, so he hoped that him and Jazzy would be safe.

Ignoring the thoughts going on in his head, he followed Jazzy, knowing that he could trust her.

  • Jazzy constantly looked over her shoulder to make sure that Iron was following her. She didn't want to lose him in this massive place, she might never see him again. They walked for probably five minutes before Jazzy reached the house she wanted.

"See there is the bowl right there. There are two cats that live here so if you are still hungry there should be enough for both of us." She grinned at Iron and moved swiftly into the yard. It was time for another dine and dash.

  • "I'm fine." He said, but he followed anyways. He was alomst invisible in the dark, but he was still there. His eyes glowed in the dark, like two green jades. He followed Jazzy, keeping her in sight.

  • Jazzy nodded and crept next to the food bowl, taking a few big bites before a hiss echoed in the area. "What do you think you are doing eatting our food?" Jazzy jerked her head up in surprise. Uh oh, they had gotten caught. Standing not far away was a brother and sister, their fur bristling with anger.

"Oh this is you're food, I..I'm sorry. We will just be going..." Jazzy looked at Iron with wide fearful eyes. They needed to get out of here before the two decided to attack.

"You have to pay for what you've eatten!" The two cats launched themselves at Jazzy.

  • The second he heard the two cats, he knew that they were busted. Iron glared at the cats. His hackles rose, making him seem much larger. When he saw them attack Jazzy, he completely lost it. He unsheathed his thorn-like claws and leaped at the brother and sister.

  • Jazzy had turned to run when she saw Iron flying at the brother and sister. His massive size took the two kitty-pets by surprise as well. Iron hit the brother and he yowled in surprise and pain. Jazzy paused, along with the sister. Neither of them really were fighters, the brother and sister were more bullies than anything.

The brother thought hissed and tried to claw Iron on the side, his fur fluffing out.

  • He moved out of the way and aimed to claw the brother's shoulder, his fur swelling him to nearly twice his size. His eyes glowed in the dark, but were focused on the cat he was attacking. He hissed, trying to scare it away.

  • The brother kitty-pet hissed in pain as Iron's claw dug into him. He backed away, hissing and spitting but did not attack again. Jazzy looked towards Iron and moved towards his side. "We should go." Jazzy felt bad she had caused the duo pain. She needed to learn to hunt so she didn't have to steal from these fatter cats. She looked at Iron hoping he would leave and not keep fighting.

  • He stared at the pair of kittypets with his startling green gaze, then lept up onto the wall and left without another word. "Stupid kittypets." He thought as he waited for Jazzy. "They think they're so much better then eveyone else!"

  • Jazzy leaped over the fence as well, loosing her footing for a moment. She was so shaken by the fight that she wasn't sure what to do. She always ran away when she was caught eatting food. She had never had the guts to stay and fight, and it was never her fight to win. She was the stealer and if she got caught she hadn't picked the right place.

"Are you ready to go back Iron? Sorry to cause you to get into a fight." Her voice was soft and she looked at him with sad amber eyes. She should have been more careful.

  • He nods, walking on, his green eyes focused on the space ahead of them. "Yes. And it's okay." He said. There was no anger or pain in his voice, so he was fine. "Are you okay?" He asked Jazzy, looking over his shoulder at her.

  • Jazzy looked up from the ground when he asked if she was alright. "Yeah I'm alright. I didn't get into a fight." She gave him a half smile, still feeling guilty for causing him to get into a fight. It was lucky of them that they were not strong kitty-pets, just angry ones.

  • He nods, walking on towards the forest. He was worried about Jazzy's well-being and survival. "I'm going to need to teach her to hunt." He thought. "Or else she stands no chance in the forest, even though I do protect her."

  • Jazzy decided she liked the forest after reentering it with Iron. It was peaceful and quiet. There were no cars racing by, cats yowling into the night or any other human actions. Maybe it was being with Iron that helped, she wasn't worried about something jumping out at her. An owl hooted in the distane and Jazzy looked up surprised. "What was that?"

  • He pricked his ears, listening. "Just an owl. Nothing serious." He mwed, walking back to his log den. His eyes glowed in the darkness, like two green lanturns. He waited for Jazzy to catch up, silently gazing ahead.
