How do I Find my Old BookMarks?

    Okayy, thank you, cause the bookmarks didn't get carried over and I'm completely lost because I don't know where my threads are...XD

    I found that an easy way to solve that problem is log into your proboards account and look at your bookmarks there. You can even check where they lead to when you click on them, which should give you a clue as to where they were. Thats how I found all my bookmarks again.


    Easy, yes. Fast... not really.

    The updated topic thing is harder for me because it includes OOC posts.
    I find bookmarks to be much easier and quicker ...I mean you just have to click the link at the top of the page and there they all are. :3

    I have book marks on bios, the used name list [cause I always lose it] and other important threads

    LOL, that's exactly what I do, Phantom. At one, random point over at the ProBoards site, I had Brody's Bio bookmarked. o_O

    I have every thread that I'm currently in, bookmarked. Some are OOC and some are Other RPG, but most are WCRPG.

    Mine are mostly IC links, but when I haeve something going OOC like an adoption, I bookmark that, too. I also have the territory application threads bookmarked so I know when someone needs a board made.

    I have important OOCs like adoptions bookmarked. Plus all IC stuff.


    I don't like the new bookmarks system :( You can't add bookmarks when making a post, like I always used to, when adding a bookmark it takes you to bookmarks instead of back to the thread, the 'add bookmark' button remains there regardless to if you've already got bookmarked or not (so you can;t tell at a glance if it is or isn't bookmarked) and there's no way to remove the bookmark from the thread, you have to go and edit bookmarks directly.

    Yeah it has its upside and downside. I actually like it better though in that you can directly delete bookmarks from your main bookmark page. For me that has worked out very well in that it helps me prevent the buildup that I always used to get.


    In time, I may be able to get some of the bookmark features you mentioned there, worked into the site.
