" Get off Windclan territory!" yowled a Sandy colored tom with a very long tail.

But before the tom attacked he realized how beautiful the she-cat was. " Get off Windclan territory." he said less threateningly and didn't make a move to attack.

Ic "Oh im...uh sorry.." she looked into his glistening eyes

"Ok just don't let it happen again." When he turned to leave he knew in his heart it would not be the last time he would see that beautiful she-cat.

She crossed the border back into her territory she wished she could stay there all day

For the next few weeks the sandy tom asked to patrol the Riverclan border, hoping to get a glimpse of that beautiful she-cat.

Shade soul would sit by the windclan border every day hoping to see the handsome tom

One day the tom walked up to her and asked "Aren't you the cat that ran across the border?"

"Yeah why?" she asked noticing the Tom looked familiar

"I'm Duskflight and I was the cat that almost attacked you." he blinked warmly.

"Oh yeah!" she blushed "I'm shadesoul!"

"Nice to properly meet you" said Duskflight blushing. "The Gathering is tonight....are you going?"

"Umm I think so.. Are you?" she asked hopefully

"Yeah!!...I mean yes I am. I'll see you there," Duskflight races off.

"Ok see you later!!" she meowed after him she was excited

When Duskflight arrived he scanned the cats for Shadesoul. When he found her he went to sit next to her. "Hi," he mewed.

"Oh hi! How are you?!" she purred with delight

"i'm good and yourself?" Duskflight asked nervously. He glanced at his leader Legstar to see if she was watching him.

"I'm good" she said in a hushed tone seeing his worried look
