You mean a Clanmate? On the persons profile, scroll down untill you see a box saying "Contact" Press add as a clanmate. Done.

Do you mean a mate as in a partner for life like a spouse? I don't understand your question dear.

there isn't a way to do that^^. you simply add them as a clanmate the way Midnight described.
