  • [justify][font=georgia]"No thank you," Aerialpaw turned his focus back to his shop.

His gems and colorful stones were all laid out so they looked like a rainbow, and his fabrics, ribbon, and feathers were all laid out accordingly to their colors as well. His freshkill was neatly stacked close to the side, and each of his precious jewelry was strung down from a rock, making it look like a golden, silver, bronze, and rainbow curtain hanging around him.

  • Railroad stopped himself from rolling his eyes. Of course, everyone tried to look cool and show up late. The tailless feline wanted to say something, but of course, he knew better. The young warrior waited patiently, kneading the ground with his paws lightly as he looked at his matching sets of jewelry, his own topaz one faintly sparkling when the dim light caught it. His claws were ready in case anyone wanted to pierce his ears just like the Manx himself, curious green gaze glancing at the other shops. "Open!" He called, happy with his display of various items. Permissionkit and some other cats had already stopped by his shop, and that meant something, right?

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw started tapping his paws on the ground nervously. No one was coming here..
Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts.. He told himself, trying to pull it together.

The beige Tom tried to think about his wares in an attempt to calm himself. The gems, stones, and jewelry were all perfectly clean and shined. His feathers were all in perfect condition, and so was his ribbons and string. Aerialpaw sighed in relief, knowing he'd be alright and he still had a chance.

  • [font=georgia]"We're open!" Jadepaw called out again, flicking her tail towards the treasures of her stand. She knew just what to voulenteer to Colouredstar, the most georgous item in her shop...
She could hardly wait! The thrill of this event still boggled her mind! She glanced around at her competitors. Aerialpaw, Fawnfire, and Permissionkit were the ones that stuck out though. She wrinkled her nose, I have some competition, she pondered, but quickly shook the thought away - replacing it with a beckoning smile.

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw, knowing it wouldn't help his nervous state, started studying the other shops. Might as well get to know his competitors' work. Most he wasn't worried about, but.. Zeropaw and Jadepaw.. Well, he would keep an eye on them, that was for sure.

  • Glancing around nonchalantly, Railroad gazed at Permissionkit and Fawnfire. The apprentices? Not that much of a competition for him. Sure, a KIT was probably not going to become a shopkeeper, but anything could happen in Sunclan. Stifling a bored yawn, the young Manx re-arranged his garnet ring, his eyes fixed on the precious jewel in it's center.

  • Zeropaw narrowed her eyes, a common expression for her. These snotty, stuck up weirdos were stealing her thunder! This was idiotic! Dream catchers were something new, something original. Not just some gems and feathers and junk. She decided maybe, if she acted nice, she might be considered for the position. Zeropaw padded slowly over to Jadepaw's demo shop. "Not too many buyers, huh?" she remarked, trying hard not to hiss. Regular cats were sooo beneath her. Then again...Oraclenight's reign was kind of over, so...She had become a commoner. Aw, StarClan...or Dark Forest or whatever...This was really bad. Then, the cream she cat remembered what was going on and looked back at Jadepaw. Maybe if she stopped looking down on other cats she'd have more friends than just Cerulean...hah! What a joke!

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw looked at all of his things. Why not make something new while he waited? He took all of his ribbons, ropes, strings, and feathers and started weaving them through some twigs that we're delicately arranged in a bowl-like shape. Skillfully weaving a beautiful basket, Aerialpaw brightened up. He was starting to actually feel like competition!

  • [font=georgia]"Phh, tell me about it." Jadepaw snorted, wrinkling her nose disapprovingly.
Oh yeah! She'd forgotten about Zeropaw! She was definately a competitor as well, taking a glance at her shop Jadepaw was sure of that. An akward silence forming, she decided to start a conversation. "Nice stand you got there," she complimented, flicking her tail over to her friend's demo shop.

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw's ears went up as he started listening in on the she-cats' conversation while he weaved his basket. He shouldknow how others' thought, after all.

The apprentice finished his first basket, and set it carefully to the side. After doing that, Aerialpaw set to work on his second one. While the first one had been made of random, mismatches materials, giving it a strange, yet beautiful rainbow quality, this next one would be made a bit more skillfully, with patterns and closer.. Stitches? He didn't know what else to call them. Hazel eyes thoughtful, the beige apprentice selected blue and grey ribbons and string, bluejay feathers, and some small, diamond-shaped sapphires, then began to work on his basket.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]permission waited for his favorite sunclan to come by his demo shop. there were rows of bright, colorful things, and the bengal with blue eyes even found some hooks to hang the collars on. the collars were for sure the prettiest things he ever saw, and slipped a small purple p one over his neck. like colouredstar's it hung a little loose, but oh well.

he kept setting the prey in different positions. while outside camp he found a beat up squeaky toy. this was an interesting this for kits to play with. it was round like a ball too. and yellow. pretty easy to squeak, and it was also made with fluffy stuff. he could get a really high deal for this.

  • Melanitemask listed to what was going on around him with a concentrated interested as he kept things in order on his booth. He had rearranged the brightly-colored feathers and beads, hoping that a different placement might suit them better for the others to see. The Sunclan warrior was trying to pull out all of the tricks, even if it was simply moving things around. Even the smallest thing meant more attention sometimes. Everything had to look appealing in order to sell. There was no way he was going to be lazy going about his work. All of these actions kept him silent as he worked, something very odd for him in general. Melanitemask was one to talk and talk and talk. Perhaps it was the proposition of getting to do something more interesting that kept him busy.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]there was also a hunting bird -- yes, it was stuffed. shortened pole on it, and it was left in the woods by twoleg kits. there was a small hole just about the size of the pole, so he clung to the wall, climbed up it, and put the stuffed bird in.

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw finished his second basket, which was a bit small than the first, and looked a lovely, misty blue and grey, and lovingly stacked it inside his other basket. The Tom sat back down in the center of his shop, his tail sliding on and off his paws, and wondered what he should do next. Was there a way he could somehow advertise? He didn't think he could. Aerialpaw couldn't.. Oh, what did the kittypet's call it? Write. He couldn't write.

((Is there a date as to when this ends, or is it just 'til there's enough competitors?))

  • "Thanks, yours too." Zeropaw told Jadepaw. Maybe this friendliness stuff wasn't so bad. Looking around briefly, Zeropaw sighed. No customers. She may as well just sit here and talk. "I don't know why there aren't any customers. This shopkeeper thing is a big deal, you'd think cats would want to be involved." Zeropaw mewed. Then she remembered the entire point of the contest, to sell things. Not a thing. Plural. "I have to rearrange some stuff. See ya, and good luck." Zeropaw called as she pelted back to her stand. She went and got the things she wanted to sell earlier: feathers, the shiny twoleg thing, and some stones and gems. She sorted them, and put them kn display as well. The dream catchers were the main option, but now there were other possibilities as well.

  • [font=georgia]"Thanks, you too." Jadepaw whispered, knowing that Zeropaw couldn't hear her. She looked back at her stand, then at Colouredstar - just fox-lengths from her shop. So she once again stuck on a big smile, and awaited the moment when her leader would take a look.

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw quickly started weaving his third basket, more skillfully this time, this basket was red, orange, and yellow, like a flame. It had cardinal feathers, yellow ribbons, and brightly dyed orange stones, along with a few rubies. The Tom sighed, wondering when someone would come see his shop. "Open.." He mewed softly.

  • [size=8]> I think I might as well end it now. Assume Colouredstar has visited everyone's.

"Okay!" Colouredstar announced, leaping atop the ledge he used for adressing the cats underground, "I've seen some interesting things, here, but it's time we choose!"

  • [justify][font=georgia]Aerialpaw immidiatley stopped weaving his basket, and leapt to his paws, excitement coursing through his veins. The beige Tom padded towards Colourstar's ledge and tried to appear as composed and patient, tough as it was, as he could while he sat below the ledge, hazel eyes shining.
