    ''Yeah.'' Dana said.

    Dana sat down on one of the stair steps. ''You know she's right, right.'' She said, looking up at Nathan. ''One day I am going to die, and then I really won't wake up.''

    Dana immediately regretted her words, though they were true. She he looked at the ground towards her feet, avoiding Nathan's gaze. She always said something to make someone upset.

    ''I'm sorry Nathan.'' Dana said.

    "It's fine." Nathan said quietly. "Your just telling me the truth." he whispered walking up te stairs and going into his room.

    Dana sat on the stairs downcast for a few minutes when Nathan left. ''Yeah.'' Dana said quietly. ''But I don't want it to be true.''

    Dana heard the smashing of glass. She knew Nathan was angry, she just didn't know at who or at what. But she knew why. The awful truth that she was going to die. She stood up and headed up the stairs. Dana's hands kept clentching and unclentching into fists. She went into Jackie's room.


    Jackie was sitting on her bed quietly.


    ''You don't ever talk to her like that again. Got it?!" She said harshly.


    ''Why? Because she'll kill me? How does that matter? You let Nathan bite you and he didnt kill you!" Jackie protested.


    ''You know there's others ways to kill people than just biting them!" Dana fumed. ''It almost sounds like you wants to be bitten!"


    ''So? You wanted to be bitten by Nathan, and you said it's not that bad!" Jackie once again protested. ''I just wanna be like my big sister!" Tears started to stream down her face.

    ''You will be polite or just shut up completely when she is here. End of discussion!" Dana told Jackie. After another crashing noise coming from Nathan's room, she got up and stormed out of Jackie's room. She knocked on Nathan's door. ''Are you OK Nathan?" She asked, almost frantically worried now. She tried to open the door, locked.

    ''Nathan!" Dana said. ''Please let me in!"

    Dana looked inside the room, seeing all of the shards scattered. But she didn't even care about that at the moment, all she cared about was Nathan. She stepped into the room, and gently took his hands in hers. She then leaned up and kissed him. A few tears left her eyes. ''I don't like seeing you in this much pain.'' She whispered, she couldn't speak any louder because she couldn't trust her voice at the moment.

    Nathan watched her tears fall, feeling as if he might do the same. "I can't bare the thought of losing you." he responded in the same volume.

    ''I can't bare the thought of leaving. I can't bare the thought of dying. I can't bare it at all whatsoever.'' Dana said. ''I'd rather stay with you forever.''
