"Whenever..." she mewed, her eyes gleaming. She perked her ears, hearing the patrol. "Come on, lets go," she meowed, before turning and heading in the direction of the patrol.

He raced fter her, glancing back...the shadows in the long grass....they had eyes.....he shook his head and high-tailed it after her....
-
Sleekfur sighed in relief when he saw them. "You're suppose to keep up." he growled when they came over. "Just because you're warriors doesn't mean you can still goof off like apprentices." Ashfoot looked at her paws. "Sorry...." she perked her ears. Was that...... no, it couldn't be..... Mapleshade. Ashfoot turned for camp, even though Sleekfur was blabbering something to her, she didn't care, and kept walking.
-
Spiritpelt turned to her and followed...ignoring Sleekfur...
-
As Ashfoot padded into camp, she headed straight to the warriors den, slipping into the entrance.
-
Spiritpelt poked his head in.
"You okay?" he asked. -
"Fine... I just feel... weird. Like someone's watching me...." a chill ran down her spine.
-
"It's okay, you have a whole clan that's ready to protect you"
-
She smiled. "Thank Starclan I do...." she mewed and lied down, her eyes starting to close.
-
He licked her cheek, but he could hear a voice....something...a whisper...he padded out to follow the whisper...
-
She fell asleep, waking up in a Dark Forest. "No!" she spat. "I'm not helping a Dark Forest cat!" she yowled. Mapleshade padded up. "And so we meet again.." she mewed, her eyes growing dark. Ashfoot unsheathed her claws, growling. "You can't beat me silly apprentice!" she laughed. "I'm not an apprentice you fox-hearted fool!" Ashfoot hissed and bared her teeth. "Oh but you are... you aren't worthy enough to be a warrior. You're weak!" Ashfoot lunged at the warrior, raking her muzzle. Mapleshade her off, pinning her down with her claws sunk into her shoulders. Ashfoot wailed in pain. "Are you going to help me?" Mapleshade growled. "Never!" Ashfoot spat back.
-
He sat down in the cavern, looking around, voices, as loud as thunder, scraming at him, figures....souls...eyes glowing with hate....then he felt agonizing pain and he screamed.
-
Ashfoot woke, agonizing pain coming from her shoulders. Blood was dripping down her wounds, and she winced in pain. She got up and looked at her nest. It was red and soaked with blood. Mapleshade had also raked her hind leg, blood gushing out of the claw marks, and a slice down her face. Blood dripped down her muzzle. She was a bloody mess. Mapleshade had won this battle, but she wouldn't win the next one. As she looked in the den to see who was there she saw Bearheart, Duskclaw, Rootclaw, but there was one cat missing.... Spiritpelt! She slipped out of the den and looked around, searching for his familiar pelt. She winced again, the searing pain in her wounds worsening. She padded around camp. Apparently he's not here... she thought to herself. She slipped out of the camp entrance and towards the Riverclan border. She had to start somewhere. She called out his name. "Spiritpelt? Where are you?" she yowled. Maybe he's just on patrol.... she still searched, calling his name every so minute.
-
His tabby tail twitched slightly before going still as the rest of him did, only his eyes, cold as ice stared blankly at the ground....the slight rise and fall of his sides barely showing he was alive.....
-
As she finally came across him, she gasped at the sight. "Spiritpelt!" she ran over to him, tears already starting to well in her eyes. She tried shaking his body. "Spiritpelt? Please say something!" She put her nose in his fur, wishing she was the one lying on the ground, not him.
-
"There are voices...i my head...they're screaming...screaming at me" he murmured, barely audible.
-
"Voices? What voices? Spiritpelt... please make some sense." she mewed, her voice shaky.
-
HE turned to her, his eyes filled with a madness.
"They're screaming at me!" he screeched.
"They won't leave me alone!" -
"Who is?!" her mew was frantic now. "You're making no sense! I don't hear anything!"
-
"The Dead, The living, the Murdered! All of them!" he screeched, his claws bloody from digging into the stone ground.
