Dannys heart sank. She turned around and motioned for Sylvie to come.

Sylvie ran up to her "What?'.

"Aedan wants us to come to his house" Danny whispered to her.

Aedan walked Up to the girls. "You guys wanna hang?" he asked, his buddies still roaring with laughter.

"Oh. I've got stuff to do" Sylvie said quickly.

Danny looked at Sylvie, then at Aedan. She wasn't sure if she wanted to come up with an excuse.

Aedan raised his eyebrows at Danny, waiting for an answer.

Danny smiled slightly. "Uh... sure?" she said carefully.
