She looked around, from the bench she was sitting on. Taking out her IPod from her pocket, she started to unwrap the ear buds. Plugging them in, she started to listen to her music, keeping the volume low in case she disturbed any ones thoughts or lectures. -

Tara yawned.

"do you want some tea? I know how to make some great tea." Nic asked, smiling at her.

"Sure." Tara said, smiling.

"come on. to my room. i can show you my stuff. well, most of it's books, but still." nic smiled, and started walking back to his room so he could make the tea.

"welcome to my humble adobe. come on in, make yourself comfortable. i usually don't have many comfortable things because I usually read, and I tune the entire world out when reading. I do have a pillow I use for meditation. I'll make the tea." he walked into the kitchen and put some hot water on the stove.

"You meditate???" Tara asked, overly excited.

"yes. I use it when life becomes too much for reading to take away. I like it. it's calm. I was planning to talk to the Dean about adding a Japanese Zen Garden into the garden. i like Zen. It's like meditation, Japanese style. more about rythmic movements than breathing and minds."

"We have a zen garden hidden near the waterfall. I'm the one who usually takes care of it." Tara said, grining.
