It was peaceful around the pond in the forest; mice crawled silently in the reeds, rabbits hopped in the patch of grass nearby, lizards were resting on the rocks sunbathing, their colorful scales shimmering as the sun hit them, and a mother doe and her fawn emerged from the trees, quietly sipping the water. But a figure was watching the deer. A grey female wolf with white patches on her body and a marking on her head which looked like a star was waiting in the patch of reeds nearby, crawling through the grass silently, it's eyes were focused on the drinking mother and fawn. The she-wolf crouched, a smile creeping onto her fur-covered face. Finally, she charged and pounced on the doe, causing her to buck in suprise. The fawn had already ran away to hide in the reeds while the she-wolf growled and bit into the deer's neck, showing no mercy. After 5 minutes of fighting, biting and clawing later, a dead doe lay, with the grey-she wolf, known as Star, standing above it. Star then threw back her head and howled in victory, making the mice dash away as fast as they could, the rabbits zig-zag away into the forest and the lizards jump into the water on the farthest rock away. Star than sank her her teeth into the meaty neck and began to gorge herself. This had been her first large kill in ages, her last meal was just a tiny baby hare. She looked at the remains, which where just a carcass filled with meat. The wolf then ripped out the meat and swallowed it before walking to the hill to rest as she curled up and yawned. It had been a long day, for her. She let the warm hot summer sun touch her fur.

Mist and her brother shadow heard the victorious howl and started running the way it came from (sorry didn't write a paragraph)
-
OOC: It's ok. :P
IC: Star was still basking in the sun on the hill when a scent hit her nose. Two other wolves. The she-wolf smiled and began to bask for 5 more minutes, until something inside her told her to see what it was. She got up and shook her fur, which was wet from the chase trough the pond after that large doe. She began to stalk down the hill, her aqua eyes showing curioisity.
-
a scent hit mist's nose it smelt of blood (from the dead doe) "let's go that way" she told her brother
-
Star's ears perked when she heard barks of a wolf. She jumped down from the hill and onto another, watching the owls sleep in a nearby nest in the trees. Her aqua gaze shifted from the sleeping birds to the pond, where she could still see rabbits hopping and lizards resting. "Hello?" she barked. "Anyone there?" She added, sniffing all over the place, her great grey paws trying to dig out a rabbit burrow.
-
"hello" mist said as she followed the voice, her bright blue eyes darted from left to right as her brothers Gray eyes stayed one thing, the she wolf
-
"Hello..." Star barked, and then shot a quick glare at her brother, No thanks, I' m not ready for a mate yet. Most of the he-wolves around here were begging and forcing me to have pups, thank goodness I didn't. So sorry." She barked, her eyes then returned back to their normal state, round and aqua. She saw nothing was in the ground and cursed under her breath.
-
"No i was staring because i haven't seen you around here "he said
-
Star's ears perked. "Well, I was glaring because you looked like you were going to mate with me. I won't get a battle started up, I wasted much of my energy killing that doe anyway." She barked, watching some ravens begin to finish up the scraps of the kill, which was only half of a deer skeleton. Star's eyes rested on the huge black birds, flapping their wings, cawing and pecking at the boney remains of the large deer.
-
"sorry but i already have a mate" he growled and ran back to his pack leaving mist "sorry he is usually abused in our pack" mist said
-
Star glared at him before talking to Mist, "I do not like when wolves growl at me. Sorry I was rude." Star barked. She then asked, Would you like to stay with me in my home? It's warm and prey is plentiful, but you can go back to your pack when you want to go home, it's just a question." She barked, watching the birds flap and peck and fight over the remains of the deer.
-
"i woulod love to but i'm sure shadow wouldn't" she said
