  • She drove over to his house and parked in his driveway. She got out of the car and ran over to him. "Hey babe," she said, smiling slightly.

  • "I don't know." she said with a sigh. "But, my moms pregnant!" she cried out in a whisper. "She's freaking me out, Aaron. She almost seems excited. She didn't yell or anything. She asked me if I had fun having s*x with you, Aaron!" she said, borrowing her head in his chest.

  • Angela smiled a bit at her husband, "Darling, we have two pregnancies in our family," she said smiling from ear to ear. Richard had never been the type to care much if she was pregnant or not, his physical desire for her didn't seem to be affected either.

"Two? Who are they? Your sisters?" he said gruffly. If she says anyone besides one of her sisters or sisters in law I'll be shocked! he thought. His blonde hair was turning grey with age, and he had been having a stressful time at the office since his partner's retirement.

Angela shook her head slowly. She would be thrilled for her sisters if they were pregnant but if they were they hadn't shared the news with her. "Darling, we're pregnant!" she announced excitedly. Richard had thrown his arms around her neck and kissed her.

"Who's the other person? Baby, how can you be pregnant! You are forty-eight years old! Are you sure you aren't starting menopause?" he teased. Richard knew that his wife had wanted to have several children, he wanted a boy to pass on the family name, but at forty-eight he knew his wife was perimenopausal and she may mistake a lack of a period for pregnancy because she wanted to believe she was pregnant.

Angela was quiet for a moment, she wasn't sure she should share Sophie's news with her husband. Looking at the clock, she saw the digits 11:11 and she knew she should. Sophie wasn't home yet that she knew of. "Sophie," she said quietly, letting her face frown a little.

"Sophie!!!! I need to call that girl!" Richard said tersely. He heard his wife's plea to be accepting and easy on the girl but he decided he would talk to her when he felt like it. He pounded to her room only to discover it empty. He took his cell phone out and called her. He decided he would call her until she answered her phone.

  • Sophie looked down at her phone and noticed her dad was calling. "Oh great, it's my dad." she gruffed. "Hold on," she said to Aaron. She answered the phone and put it to her ear. "Hello?" she asked.

  • "We need to have a serious conversation young lady," he said, an uneasy calmness in his voice. He was going to do his best to treat Sophie like an adult and speak with her rationally but Sophie was his baby. "Please come home immediately" he said in a no nonsense sort of way.

  • "If you won't come home, I'll come to you," Richard said annoyed. His temper was short because of his lack of sleep. He wanted to be kind to his daughter. He felt that she was showing her absolutely no respect. Having taught his daughter to be respectful, he felt it as a personal slight.

  • "Dad, I am having an important conversation with the Aaron, the father of my baby, about our babies future!" she said stirnly. "I'll be home when we're done talking."

  • "If his parents don't know, they need to find out," Richard said coolly. "babies aren't cheap even though your prenatal care will be." Richard couldn't believe that his baby was carrying his grandbaby. "Your mother has said that if you want us to help you raise our grandbaby to the point of adoption she is willing," Richard said without revealing emotion. He loved his daughter but he couldn't believe his little girl would ever make a mistake, especially one of this gravidity. I love you but you upset me SO much sometimes! he thought about his daughter.
