    "I'm not angry at them," Ashley murmered, "They need blood in order to live. Just like I need food. I can't live if I don't eat so I would break the law to eat. I don't resent any meat-eaters, beasts, vampires, or monsters. They do what they do in order to surrvive."
    Ashley looked up. "I've come to the point where I'm starting to beg. Please."

    "It would make my headache go away and her life better," he said to Lynn.

    Ashley couldn't help it; A smile played across her lips at Eric's words. "Thanks," she said, her voice edged with sarcasm.
    She turned to Lynn. "Well, it's time to."

    Eric nodded to Lynn. "You'll have to train to become one..."

    Ashley tilted her head, showing her neck. "Go on," she whispered, "Do it."

    Eric rested his hand on Lynn's shoulder. "Go ahead..." he said softly.

    Ashley looked down, waves of devastation flowing over her. "Please Lynn," she said, her voice choked, "Please."

    Eric knew she wanted to be a vampire badly...he nudged Lynn over to her.

    Ashley shot a grateful glance towards Eric. Thanks, she mouthed. Then she turned to Lynn. "C'mon," she urged, "It's easy.....at least I think it is."

    Ashley shook her head. "If I was scared, I wouldn't have come here in the first place. C'mon Lynn."

    Eric crossed his arms wondering how this would turn out.

    "You can do it...trust me...when you feel the need to stop just pull away." Eric knew she could do it.
