  • Anthony gave a bright smile "Hey" he replied in a cheery mood. He could hear whispers from his "fans" but he didnt care right now. "How was your last period?" he asked, trying to start up a conversation.

Chris slapped him across the face. "Obviously its NOT nothing and I care whether that matters or not." She waited a second before adding, "but i guess if you dont want to talk to me its fine. I will just go be forever alone over here" she slowly walked over to her locker and opened it all sad-like.

  • Dave stopped for a second. Hearing the simple word of "alone" always got to him. He could be alone, but he never wanted anyone ells to be alone. He sighed as he turned and walked back over, next to where her locker was, rubbing his face a bit as it started to sting slightly. Sighing once more, he leaned against the lockers and slid down to the ground once more and had his head slightly pointed towards the ground, but raised just enough so that her, and only her, could hear him. "The first phone call I got this morning was the hospital...my mom had slipped into a shock from her condition...i left as she was recovering and they said she would be fine... The second call was..my mom is...she is gone...and I wasn't there to say goodbye... And to top it all off...the last phone call I got in band was the emergency line...my father was in a car accident...they still haven't found his said to be mangled body from the look of the car when it was hit...I have nothing now...its all gone...every last bit of it.." He felt like he was about to burst into tears again, but just couldn't find the strength to. So he simply looked at the ground now, with his hands next to him, clenching his fists.

  • Chris sighed. "well look here, you have a good friend, well scratch that im not good. You have a friend, thats one person. If you want, I can probably share the rent of an apartment with you, i ave been searching for a roommate so i can get one and stop mooching off of Anthony and his family." she grabbed her stuff, closed her locker, set the first two numbers of her comb, and finished speaking "but I understand if you dont want to. Just think about it k?"

  • After she finished talking Dave just looked up at her, completely shocked at what she was telling him. "Well...heck, even if needed.. I can pay for the entire place. My parents kinda...owned the hospital in downtown...heh... But ill give it a bit of thought and get back to you. And Chris...for the simple fact of even knocking some sense into me, yes, you are a good friend. Say what you must and act how you must. Just keep on doing it. Your a good person no matter if anyone try's to tell you otherwise. I guess ill see you later. By the way...mind letting the teachers in on why i wont be in class the rest of the day..would really appreciate it.." Dave then stood up from the lockers and walked out the front doors to the front of the school. He could see rain clouds begin to form above him and knew it was going to be a terrible day now. The rain started to fall and seemed to calm him, but he figured he better get out of it. So he walked over to a nearby park, pretty close to the school, and found a pavilion and sat under it and dozed off for quite some time.

  • Dave woke up several hours later and noticed how drenched he was. The wind must have picked up and blew the rain onto him. He stood up to walk to his house but then realized his dad had his keys and he couldn't get into his house. So now he had no way of getting into his house, he had no change of cloths, and no way of getting a hold of family because his phone had died while he was asleep and his charger was in the house. He just sighed and walked down the road in any direction he could, rain still falling. It was kind of useless to go back to school because it was about over anyway. What was he supposed to do now?

  • Rosa bit her lip and looked to the side, hiding her face more with her hair. She couldn't tell him that she was thinking about him like the how time. "It was...boring. Like always" she said, still looking the side, her hair still hiding her face.

  • "Oh, Im sorry to hear that." Anthony put in. He rubbed the back of his head, feeling his hair as he did so, and looked at the clock. They still had 4 minutes to class. It was just about the end of the day...well it was for him. He didn't have a final hour class today becaue the teacher had given it off. He would probably look for Chris who didn't have a class at this time either but decided to stay here for a little while longer.

Chris walked outside to smell the rain which wasnt as bad when she stood under her favorite tree. Typically she would wait for Anthony to get out of club activities and school but she decided to walk around town for a bit since he usually wasnt done until around 7 at night. The tree sat almost dead center of the public park and was her feavorite kind, a weeping willow. The smell of rain soothed her and the beauty of the tree added on to the effect. She sat down and relaxed.

  • Rosa shrugged then looked at the clock, she sighed and shook her head. "I think I have to go..." she said, stepping back. She could always ditch class, but for what? Not like Anthony was going to stick around and talk to her, she was a freak and he was well...popular.

  • Dave took his headphones from his pocket and put them in. It was the only thing that he had at this point. He charged it the day before so he usually gets at least a few days out of it. He let the music kind of blast through the headphones and just listened to it without paying attention. He walked through the park, past the large tree that Chris was at, but didnt seem to look over at her, he was more focused on not getting his mp3 player wet so it wouldn't ruin it. Walking along he got to a nearby bridge where he stood and just looked over as the rain created the ripples in the usually calm water. It seemed to calm him for once and he just stood there as cars drove by and were probably staring at the obnoxiously wet guy standing there.

  • Had this been pokemon, Chris would have gotten up and demanded a pokebattle with Dave since their eyes had met. Instead though, this was reality, this wasn't a game, and she would just sit there for a while longer. She had no need to hurry into town except the fact she was hungry. She didn't work today either but she almost wished she did. She sighed and leaned on the tree again.

Anthony looked down at her, abit saddened. "Oh, alright. I should um..I should go look for Chris then." he said to her. "I guess I will see you later" he turned and walked away and one of his fellow Baseball members ran up to him and slapped his back and they walked around talking about nothing.

  • Rosa shook her head and took off to class, she went her seat and sat down. A few moments later the bell rang and Rosa sighed. School was getting on her nervous and she didn't want to be here. Why was Anthony stuck in her head again? She shook her head and took notes as the teacher spoke, not really focusing. How could she be thinking about Anthony? He was popular and Rosa well...wasn't. She was a loner and an outcast.

  • Dave stood their for a moment longer and then walked to his home, though he couldnt get in and just simply slouched against the door on the steps in front of it. "Looks like this is where I sleep tonight..." he said to himself as he noticed the clouds start to disappear into the night sky and the faint sun start to set. The rain still hadnt let up and Dave slightly shivered due to the cold night air mixed with the slight breeze blowing on him. He just simply shut his eyes hoping for morning to come, though it is probably going to be quite a ways away for him, considering how unlucky he is.

  • Anthony sat outside the school even after it was closed. Where could Chris be? He kept asking himself. They always walked home together but she wasn't here. He hoped she wasn't hurt or lost or anythng in between. After another few hours he sighed and stood up. If she wasn't here by now she'd not be here anytime after. He began to slowly walk home.

Chris had fallen asleep under the tree. When she woke up she looked at the sun..no there was no sun. "Crap" she said out loud. She wondered if Anthony would wait at school for her even for this long. "Probably not." she told herself and decided to just walk around town.
