  • Under the willow tree, sat a female cat. She had a short and muscular frame with a dark brown marbled pelt. Her green eyes matched the forest for they glowed as if they had chlorophyll. Here sat Tetrasound, listening to the breeze.

    This spot was her sanctuary, her safe house from the chaos of reality. Here she would explore her mind to its limits and imagine the future. Tetrasound's plans for future adventure were created her. However, no one ever shared these adventures with her. She wanted someone to explore, fight, and dream with.

  • It'd been a long time since he'd seen another cat and even longer since another cat had seen him. He rather liked it that way, so why where his paws carrying him out of the shadows and into the light? He tried to move slowly, quietly. If the she-cat looked up now she'd see his unnatural gait. The gait of a three legged cat.

    He'd been abandoned because of it, rejected by those he'd took an oath to protect with his life. He wore the badges of his fights proudly, the scars that twisted around his body from wars won and lost. Wars he fought to keep others safe. Scars from wounds he took to save lives. Yet all that was tossed into the wind. Each mark was treated as a festering wound and not what they were. Badges he'd won.

    He stopped about two fox lengths away from her and sat. His short fur couldn't hide the scar from his missing limb. It ran up his shoulder and down his belly, through short dilute tortoiseshell fur. His lime colored eyes gazed at her as he flicked what was left of his tail. He didn't say a word but watched her, as though he didn't want to disrupt her thoughts.

  • Mountains, yes mountains. Tall and steep! How I could climb those forever. Oh! Trekking through deserts would be an experience! How amazing it would be to go where no cat would ever go.

    All of these ideas were dancing around the 10 moon old she-cat's brain and oh how amazing ideas these were. Ever since Tetrasound was a kit, she was running and exploring her camp. Shadowclan camp, to be exact, was where she was kitted. She was born into a normal warrior family with warrior duties and warrior feelings. This never satisfied the tabby. Now, she lives a lonely warrior life. She's always out of camp and daydreaming about her explorations to come.

    A forest filled with colorful birds and snakes with mesmerizing patterns! There's too much to see!

    Eyes wide open and alert, Tetrasound transitioned back to reality. Her adrenaline was pumping and she started to run around the willow tree.
    "I'm ready to go!" She yelled, to no one in particular. And at that moment a stange odor infiltrated her nostrils and stopped her dead in her tracks. It was cat, but sure not Shadowclan. "Ahem. Come out if you're so intent on staying in my territory."

  • He stood again and wandered forward, into her view, letting her see how decorated he was with badges of past fights. He moved his remaining front leg to the center of his body to keep from falling over. "I'm sorry, you were so deep in thought I didn't want to bother you."

  • About to question his motives in watching her, Tetrasound's eyes focused on his missing limb. She'd never seen a cat with three legs, nor has ever dreamt of it. However, this was a new experience and it excited the young warrior.
    Her eyes then traveled to his scars, some were recent whilst others were old.
    "You've been through alot,"she deduced. Cats must have bullied him and threatened his existence. All because he was different. A wave of nausea rushed through her. It was disgusting how some cats acted.
    Her voice softened and she moved over to the tom.
    "Were you born..like this?"

  • "With three legs?" he asked. "No, I was injured in a fight. My leg got infected and I was caught by two legs. they removed my leg and I escaped once I healed." he twitched the remainder of his tail. "I gained all my scars through battles for my clan. I fought and bled for them. Each scar is a badge of honor." he mewed.

  • "I thought those were scars of past encounters with- Nevermind." The brown she-cat looked thoughtfully at the tom for a moment and then opened her mouth again. "How fast can you run?"

    ooc: I was just diagnosed with low muse xD

  • He tilted his head at the question. "As fast as any other cat." he mewed. "Why?" He didn't mention that he looked funny when he ran. He had a rather hop like gait because of his missing limb...but that also made him trip over things less often.

    {Its ok}

  • Tetrasound smiled greatly and let out a playful growl. "I dare you to follow me."
    Acting as if she were still an apprentice, she let out a yowl and dashed foward. Her marbled pelt was a blur of color begind the bushes as she ran.

    It didn't matter if he would beat her or not, Tetrasound was eager to show him something special. For there was a place in this forest that she kept to herself and this was where she spent her time having adventures without leaving the forest.

  • Since he had nothing better to do he chased after her. When he caught up he stayed close to her side, though he was careful not to bump into her. The last thing he wanted to do was send the she-cat sprawling.

    {I have no idea where my muse went...}

  • Tetrasound smiled at the tom and looked at the gaping hole in front of them.
    "This is the most amazing thing in the forest." She laughed and her whiskers twitched. "Now I know what you're thinking. It's just a hole, right?"

    The marbled tabby stood in front of the tom and smirked.
    "What until you see what's inside."
    She then started to crawl into the hole, beckoning him to follow.
    "By the way, wht's your name?' it only dawned upon her now that this cat was a stranger and could be dangerous.
