Streampaw walked out of the leafy bushes and looked at the newly enlarged river. He walked to the rivers edge and stared at the water as it flowed by. He sighed and lay down with his paws barely touching the waters surface. Streampaw twitched his whiskers.
Wondering

Icewhisker stopped for a moment to shake her wet fur out. She shuddered as she remembered the water rushing in the leader's den. She was saddened when she saw that Easternwinds still hadn't caught up with her. She felt like her heart had stopped when she considered the possibility that the handsom tom might've gotten trappen and drowned. No, he couldnt have. He was right behind me. Icewshiker thought, arguing with herself.
She looked over at the swollen river, and saw Streampaw. The gray and white she-cat had never really talked to her clanmate before, but since she had nothing better to do than wait for Easternwinds to catch up, she padded over to the apprentice. "Have you seen camp recently?" She mewed, a slight sadness edged to her vioce. Icewhisker sat and waited to hear his response.
-
Streampaw turned to the warrior that had turned up. "Which one?" He snorted. "The new one or the old? Then again the new may become the old and the old may be forgotten." Streampaw sighed and looked back to the water, wondering what destruction it would cause next.
-
"The old one." Icewhisker mewed quietly. "I wonder why the old camp has been our camp if it is prone to flooding like that." She meowed, half to herself, but loud enough for Streampaw to hear.
OOC: I didn't know there was a new one, I'm getting behind grr. where's the new camp at?
-
Streampaw turned back to the warrior. "No, not yet." He said. A stick floated by and got stuck on a rock sticking out from the raging river. "Maybe that stick is all that's left of the camp. Either way, we have to start from scratch." A small wave crashed on the side of the river and splashed Streampaw in the face. He shook his head, spraying water everywhere. "Sorry..." He said quietly.
Ooc: I think it's called 'Curse that river' but I don't know if it's still in use
-
"It's fine." Icewhisker glanced behind her hoping to see Easternwinds. She was slightly worried that ut was taking him so long to meet up with her. Where was he?
-
Streampaw noticed the warriors worried look behind her. He got to his paws and stood beside her. He looked where she was looking and saw nothing. "What are you looking at?" Streampaw asked. A breeze made a leaf fly by Streampaw's nose, which made him sneeze.
-
"Easternwinds was right behind me, but now I don't know where he went." She frowned slightly, and hoped that the tom would get here soon so that she would stop worrying about the big dope.
-
OOC: It's in the forests of Riverclan. Camp isn't just in one thread.
"So hard to keep track of everyone." Desolatestar meowed, shrugging as she padded in.
-
Icewhisker turned when she heard Desolatestar's voice. The gray and white she-cat dipped her head respectfully to her leader. "Yeah. I could have sworn he was right behind me too." She meowed. Icewhisker wondered if she should go and search for him or just wait. She made up her mind. It was too irritating to just sit and wait fo Easternwinds to show up and she would probably find him faster if she searched. "I'm going to look for Easternwinds." She meowed, then padded off in search of her friend.
-
Streampaw jumped a little when Desolatestar spoke. He hadn't heard his leader approch because he was distracted. He turned around quickly. "Hello, Desolatestar. How are you today?" He asked. Streampaw watched Icewhisker depart and turned back to Desolatestar.
-
"My say's going swimmingly, thanks for asking." Desolatestar meowed. Swimmingly? Dezzy? Did you REALLY have to do that?
-
Streampaw looked back over the water to where the stick used to be. The stick was down river a few tree lengths. Streampaw sighed and turned back to Desolatestar. "Do you think anything will ever be the same again?" He asked sadly.
-

"Oh Streampaw. The only thing that'll be different is a few lives lost and a new camp location." Desolatestar meowed, shaking her head. This was only a mighty gesture of what nature was capable of. "I've- I mean we've been through worse."
Oreo Was reclining nearby, dabbing a paw in the swollen river. 'One hundred kits on the island, one hundred screaming kits. One tried to swim across and drowned ninety-nine screaming kits on the island.' Oreo continued on the maddening song. Desolatestar looked over to the flooded camp reflectively, a worried look suddenly there.
-
Streampaw took a few laps from the river as it flowed by than looked at Desolatestar. She was looking at the water were the camp used to be with a nervous look on her face. "Umm..." Streampaw said softly. "Are you ok?" He looked where his leader was looking and saw nothing unusual except, of course, that the camp wasn't in it's usual place. It was somewhere down river.
-
"Yah, just thinking about those that did lose their lives." Desolatestar meowed softly.
'Ninety-seven kits in the camp, ninety-seven screaming kits. One tried to swim across and drowned. Ninety six screaming kits in the camp...' And it kept going. Why did she have to have such a violent guy in her head?
OOC: Nice siggy x3
-
"Ya..." Streampaw said sadly. And it all had to happen again next newleaf. Or did it? "Whats going to happen to the camp?" Streampaw asked. "Are we going to go back and rebuild? Or are we relocating?" A flock of birds flew by over head and Streampaw looked up at them. After they past, he turned his attention back to Desolatestar.
Ooc: Thanks!

-
"We've already got the camp place picked out." Desolatestar meowed. New place for new kits! Dezzy squeaked.
'News sure spreads slow here. Like a poorly administrated venom.' Oreo meowed, tapping Streampaw's had with hallucinatory paw.
-
"Wow, really!" Streampaw exclaimed. He was excited that there was a new place to live, but it was sad to leave the old camps memories. He looked into the forest, watching a leaf blow by. "Where is the new camp?" He asked looking back at Desolatestar. 'Hopefully it's higher than the last one...' He thought
-
"To the west of here, in the forest." Desolastar meowed.
