I'm writing a story about a RP that I was in on FeralHeart. (Just PM me if you want to know anything about FeralHeart) It's not exactly the same as the RP went, I changed a bunch of things so it would make sense, and sound interesting. It's about a character named Rae, she is a kittypet. In the story she leaves to live in the wild, and joins a clan called RiverClan(not the one in the books). Her name is changed to Leafpaw, and she trains to become a RiverClan warrior. And the story continues through her life story and to a warrior. Here is the first chapter. If I get 2 or 3 more liked comments about it, then I will post the second chapter. Please be patient with the chapters coming out because its still in progress. Thanks and I hope you enjoy!

Leaftail’s Story
Chapter 1The brown tabby she-kit sat comfortably on the white, wood fence. A bright, green collar hugged her neck, a gold piece hung down from it. It read: Rae, her kittypet name. Was this how she would live her life? Her soft, green eyes glanced around the gardens and the twoleg’s homes. Sasha, who was close by, was padding down the sidewalk. Rae jumped down from the fence, then galloped over to her friend. “Hi Sasha.” Rae meowed, her tail held high. “Hey Rae, how are you doing?” Sasha asked, giving her paw a quick lick. Sasha was a brown calico with green eyes, like hers. “Good…I think.” Rae meowed, turning her head to look at the forest that grew nearby. “Have….have you ever thought of leaving?” Rae asked, still looking at the path that led to the hiking trail in the forest. “Once….when I was a kit. But now I enjoy my house cat life!” Sasha meowed sensibly. “And anyways, those forest cats live there, I’m not going there to have my fur ripped off!” Rae’s eyes widened. “Would they really do that??!” Her ear twitched with slight fear. “Oh yeah! I’ve heard they kill anything in their way! Prey AND cats!”Sasha meowed loudly, even some of the other kittypet neighbor’s could hear. Rae swatted Sasha on the nose. “Quiet down dog-bark!” Rae scolded. “I need to tell you something.” Rae meowed to her friend, her only friend. “Sure, what is it?” Sasha answered her, sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. “I……I’m thinking about going into the forest. A-And I wanted you to come with me.” Rae meowed. “I know you just said you didn’t want to but I thought-“ She was interrupted by Sasha. “No no! Please don’t go!! You’ll get hurt….or killed!!” Sasha’s eyes started to water. “Please understand Sasha, I can’t live this life anymore.I want to be more than just a lazy pet!” Rae yelled, she wanted her friend to understand, she wouldn’t go on like this any longer. Sasha looked down at her paws, a few tears ran down her cheeks. She hesitated, before looking up at her friend. “Okay y-you can go…” Sasha answered, her voice shaking. Rae nodded, then stood up. “Bye Sasha.” Rae answered, starting to pad toward the forest. Suddenly, she felt and warm body leaning against her, she looked at Sasha who was pushing her head against her. “Don’t die!! Please stay safe or I’m gonna kill you!!” Sasha cried. “It’s alright, I’ll stay safe.” Rae gave her a comforting lick on her ear, then continued to walk towards her destination. She loved Sasha more than anything, but she knew this was her own decision. She gave a last look at her friend, Sasha was watching her, sitting on the fence. “I will miss you…” Rae whispered, then walked into the unknown of the forest.

Leaftail’s Story
Chapter 2The brown tabby continued through the forest on light paws. She was still rather sad for leaving Sasha, but she knew she had to this. Rae had a feeling that someone was watching her from above. Could someone be telling her what to do? Could someone be up there watching her? Impossible. She thought, trying to think reasonably. Rae tried to shake away the thought as she walked tirelessly. The young she-kit stopped, hearing rustling nearby. Oh no…what if it’s one of those forest cats Sasha talked about. Is it mad at me? Maybe I shouldn’t have come! She thought nervously, backing up into a defensive position. Her eyes watched the bush, out came a mouse. The mouse saw her, then scurried away. Rae relaxed the fur standing on her back, she let out a sigh of relief. She stood up and continued her journey. The scents of prey and plants filled the air. Just then, she scented fish. She remembered the scent because sometimes her housefolk fed it to her. Rae followed her senses to find it, keeping light on her paws. Suddenly, Rae was lying on the ground, shock rang through her head. She felt a strong cat pinning her against the leaf covered ground. The cat smelled like fish and he had wet paws. The brown tabby turned her head to see a muscular, black tom about to strike her dead. She closed her eyes and prepared for the excruciating pain to run up and down her spine. “Blackstorm! Let her live!” She heard a feminine voice boom, and the tom lifted off of her. Rae scrambled onto her feet, then looked up. There stood a beautiful gray tabby she-cat, she was young and sleek. She looked slightly under-fed, unlike the other cats that lived near her when she was a housecat. “Hello kittypet, here you stand on RiverClan territory.” The she-cat meowed, then continued. “My name is Streamstar, what might yours be?” Streamstar’s voice sounded strong and serious, yet gentle. “Rae. M-My name is Rae.” Rae meowed, looking up at Streamstar. “Why have you come here, Rae?” The beautiful tabby asked, sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. “Because I don’t want my house- or kittypet life anymore. I want to be…be a forest cat.” Rae answered, trying to be brave and stand up without shaking nervously. “You are a very brave kittypet indeed.” Streamstar meowed. “And a clan cat you will become, follow me Rae” Rae nodded in awe and followed, her paws tingling with excitement. If only Sasha could see me now…

Leaftail’s Story
Chapter 3Rae followed Streamstar and Blackstorm through the forest, sniffing the new and wonderful scents. The forest was filled with noises of birds and winds blowing on the trees branches. The dead leaves crunched under Rae’s paws. Oh how excited she was! But also worried, would their clan accept her? Streamstar wanted her to join, right? Soon, almost too soon for Rae, they arrived at the camp. She felt like she wanted to keep walking forever, not wanting to hear anything bad from them. But there was no turning back now. Kind and cheerful greetings filled the air, until Rae was visible. Everyone’s head turned toward her, she saw eyes glaring at her collar. Streamstar pulled herself onto the highrock, then reached down and grabbed Rae by her own scruff, pulling her up also. She sat down after laying Rae next to her. The she-kit looked over the cats who had already began to crowd around the tall ledge her own paws stood on. Whispers and comments filled the crowd of cats. Streamstar cleared her throat, now speaking, her voice strong and clear. “Cats of RiverClan, please settle down and let me speak!” Immediately, the camp was hushed. “Me and Blackstorm were continuing our hunting patrol, when we found this young kit. Her name is Rae, and you must treat her like any other clanmate.” Streamstar meowed, her smile turned into a frown as angry protests rang through the crowd. “Hush!” Once again, the crowd was quiet. “As I was saying, Rae is now your clanmate. And she will have a ceremony like every other apprentice did.” She meowed, then began the ceremony.
(Chapter 3 will continue soon)

i like it all so far but... don't you think it was kind of quick what she was just made a clanmate? the story is amazing but i was just wondering.. unless your going to explain in the next chapter why she was welcomed quickly or something
-
Good question. One reason is that I'm trying not to make it REALLY long like an Erin Hunter warriors book, so some things might go very quickly. It was supposed to be a much shorter story, but with the way I'm writing it, it will be longer than expected. Another is that it was very rare for kittypets or even loners to venture into the woods and clan territory. So Streamstar believes that it was very brave of her to actually come to the clans and not run away once she saw a clan cat. I hope that answers your question and thanks for reading!
-
oh... yeah i guess writing a warrior cats book as long as erin hunter does it would take a long time.. i understand :3
-
dawnfire111, do u know any good warrior names I can use?
