Kimberly shrugged slightly. "Nothing, it's just you seem..." she trailed off to think of the word. "Different."

Mitchel looked down into her eyes with his red ones, as if giving her a clue. 'What kind of different, would you say?'
-
Kimberly's breath caught in her throat. She kept her gaze on him and looked deeper in to his eyes. "I don't know, I can't put my finger on it.."
-
Mitchel gave her a grin. 'Let me give you a clue.' He cleared his throat. 'What creature has red eyes and breath taking beauty? I am not human, nor alive.'
-
Kimberly's heart skipped a beat, which would give her away to Mitchel that she knew what he was.
-
Mitchel guessed she knew, and whispered, 'Dont worry. I won't hurt you,'
-
Kimberly kept her gaze steady. "How can I trust you?"
-
Mitchel gazed back. 'Do you believe me?.'
-
Kimberly quickly glanced away after a few seconds of silence. "Yes." she murmured.
-
Mitchel kept his red gaze on her for what seemed like eternity. 'Good.'
-
Kimberly didn't do anything but keep silent as he spoke.
-
Mitchel sighed, and leaned his head back.
-
Kimberly stayed silent for the next few minutes. She took in a shark intake of breath and asked Mitchel, "Why did you come to me?"
-
Mitchel looked back down at her. 'I....I'm not looking for blood. I just like helping people. Saving them from the dangerous ones of my kind.'
-
"Oh." Kimberly said, looking at him.
-
Mitchel smiled slightly.
-
After a little while, Kimberly murmured, "Indont know what to do now."
-
Mitchel chuckled lightly and hopped down, setting her down on her feet gently. 'First, who else was with you when the house bombed?'
-
Kimberly blushed and looked down. "No one." she said, but truth was she only lived on the side of the house that had been bombed. She had no family. "I want to find my dog, though. His name is Cloud, I can't live without him."
-
Mitchel nodded, and lifted his head. 'Hold on,' He raced off, and came back a second later with a dog in his arms. 'This Cloud?'
