    Sky, a hawk, woke up in a huge cage with seeds and water in a bowl. "What are they going to do to me?" she wondered.

    A small swift woke up in one of the bottom cages. It was a male, but still quite young by the name of Bonsai." Uh...where?...wa?" Bonsai slowly picked himself up and examined his surroundings. Then a thought suddenly occurred to him."Mom? Dad!"he kept on wailing. He was answered by silence. With a feeling of despair, he bobbled over to the side of his cage and sobbed.



    Bonsai glanced up. Above him he saw a flurry of colours, like the beautiful rainbows he sometimes saw with his mom and dad. The flurry moved, turned and saw it was a bird with a huge beak that was curved at the top. He had never seen anything like this before, but understood now. His dad had told him there were other kinds of birds around the world, just like there were other kinds of everything. Some were bid, some small, some looked puzzling, and had weird body parts. But his dad had also told him that maybe if he was lucky, he would get to explore the world when he was older."wow..." he whispered to himself, his dad would be so proud when he told him this. But first thing was first. He needed to know where he was , and what he was dealing with. He could be miles away from his parents know, and even if he did escape....who knew what would happen? "Um excuse me?"He tried to hide the fear in his voice but it only came back. He waited for the colourful bid to respond. To maybe help him, to maybe tell him to shut up, he just needed to know that there was someone he could trust here.

    Tropica heard the other bird "we are going to the lab I heard the people speaking with each other"she tried to smile,to reassure the bird "you don't need to be fearful,I will try to get us out"she walked over to the lock and tried to open it with her claws ,she gave up after numerous tries and climbed to the bottom of the cage "you will be alright I'll find a way"she tested the cage by biting,clawing,and trying to lift it.

    "oh thanks.." said Bonsai. This bird had helped him, so he wanted to help too. He padded to the front of his cage, and tried to wake all the other birds.

    Tropica squaked loudly to get the other birds attention then looked at Bonsai "I have a question,do you think you can unlatch my cage from were you are in your cage?'

    "OK um..how about I reach out and see if I can reach yours"she reached her claw out and tried the lock after a long time she stopped and climbed onto the bottom of the cage she was in "now I have a better reach"she tried the lock and heard a click "almost got it"then a human came and slapped her claws she backed away quickly and hid in the corner.

    "Twolegs! They did this to us? oh and you actually nearly did it!" Bonsai was enthusiastic now, and angry too.

    Tropica squaked loudly and a human came,he looked at her quietly "what do you want" Tropica squaked loudly "hello"the man looked bewildered she reapeated "hello"he got up and walked away to the other humans,Tropica got angry "I thought if I could get him to like me he would let me out and at night I could have came and unlocked you guys"

    Bonsai jumped his cage. The idea suddenly struck him. How could he have not thought about it before." What about when they come to feed us. If they don't starve us." The young-ling said with pride.

    ic maine woke up and looked around "what! were are they taking us?"


    ooc again uh who wants to control the truck?

    Tropica looked at Maine "were going to the lab"she squaked and squaked to the man then grabbed the dish that used to have food in it before she got there,the man came over and saw it "they r hungry"he yelled over his shoulder ,another man grabbed a bag full of seeds and things,she walked to the back of her cage and still held the food bowl,she dropped it their and walked towards the open cage,she waited till the man's arm moved out of the way before lunging out and flying to the others in cages I'm free!!! she thought.

    Tropica was about to get yanked when she turned and lunged towards the human holding her chain the man dropped the chain and grabbed her and put her back in her cage
