  • Neverpaw shrugged, "You kit's may explore camp as you wish as long as you stay out of the leader's den and inside camp. If you can catch Flucht when he isn't busy you can meet him." she said gently to Inkkit.

  • Tumblekit looked around, his ears falling somewhat. Go explore camp? Without his mother? He had no idea what he would do- who he would talk to! Instead of running off without any of his siblings, he sat down and planted himself firmly on the ground.

  • A soft smile spread over Neverpaw's face as she looked at the stubborn loyalty of her son. A sweet little tom he was, she licked the top of his head gently. "But I can explore with you guys this first day if yo ulike." she told her son reasurringly. "And you guys can meet the older kit's, and the apprentices." she added tantalizingly.

  • Tumblekit's eyes widened with the temptation, and he looked up at his mother with eyes that asked, Why haven't we left yet, then? But the words that came out of his mouth were well-trained and much nicer: "I'll go when you're ready!"

  • A slender lilac point raised her head, sleepily blinking her big blue eyes open. The small she-cat stumbled to her dainty paws, letting out a small yawn and rubbing her face with a paw. Fluorescentkit's bright blue eyes flitted over the camp, Neverpaw and her kits catching her attention. The young daughter of Lilypaw gazed at the family for a moment before turning away, her eyes now holding a look of sadness. Why couldn't she and her siblings spend time with their mom? The young lilac point never saw her mom often, Fluorescentkit guessed the MCA didn't have time for them, that she was too busy. Sighing, the delicate lilac point padded over to a shaded spot, lowering her small body to the ground she tucked her dainty paws under her chest and curled her long tail around her small body, her intelligent blue eyes analyzing the many cats in the BlazingClan camp.

  • Tumblekit looked around the camp, his eyes squinting for any possible spies he could beg to train him. The only thing that his eyes fell on, though, was the small body of a young she-kit, sitting alone. Waving his tail to her, Tumblekit offered a goofy grin. He had seen this kit in the nursery before once or twice when they weren't sleeping, but for some reason he had never gotten to play with her. "Hi!" Tumblekit called. What was her name again..? Flouridekit? Flamboyantkit? Er.. Flourescentkit?

  • The delicate lilac point kitten looked up, shock filling her big blue eyes. "H-Hi." the small she-cat stuttered, flicking her tail slightly. Fluroescentkit gave the other kitten a timid smile in return, her blue gaze showing cunfusion. Why was he talking to her? No one talked to her, mainly because the small kitten hid away from everyone, and was too timid to really talk to anyone, much less make friends.

  • Tumblekit stumbled over to Flourescentkit, his paws not quite being able to carry him in a straight line. Once he nearly fell over, but he caught himself. Perfect! "Have you explored the camp yet? Did you meet any spies?"
The kit's amber eyes were large as he stared down at his denmate, and his tail waved about in the air. He longed to ask her when she was going to be an apprentice, but that would have to wait.

  • Fluroescentkit shook her head in a silent 'no', letting her bg blue gaze drop to the ground. "I-I haven't met a-any spies I think.." she mewed uncertainly, her voice feathery soft. "But I've e-explored the camp before." the lilac point kitten mewed. "The medicine cat's den is r-really cool." she murmured, briefly looking up but not making eye contact. "There's so m-many cobwebs and different herbs in t-there."

  • Tumblekit nodded, making his ears flop back and forth on his tiny head. "My mom tells me about that stuff. Once she had to put cobwebs on my side because I fell over on a thorn!" he pointed out proudly, as if falling on thorns made him more of a tom.
"When are you gonna be an apprentice?" he finally blurted, unable to hold back the question any longer.

  • "Umm..two-three m-moons." Fluorescentkit stammered, the question taking her by surprise. The lilac point kitten flicked her tail and squinted her bright blue eyes, looking over him. "H-How old are you?" she asked, cocking her head slightly. "Ouch!" she mewed, her voice soft, holding up her dainty paw and looking at the bright pink tissue. The wound seemed infected now. "Need to put Chervil, Marigold, or Horsetail on that..." she murmured, her voice quiet.

  • "I'm three moons old too!" the little black tom stated, before looking down at her paw. He hadn't seen actual wounds before, and this one made him cringe, his tail standing up. "What did you do?" he wondered, his amber eyes wide.

  • She smiled softly, though the smile was sad as the heartbroken expression upon her soft features. "My sister and I had been play fighting with claws unsheathed." she whispered, her voice feathery soft as she looked down at the pink tissue on the black pad of her paw, it would scar and she knew it. She hadn't bothered to get it treated, especially after that fateful day. And now she was glad she hadn't, her sister would stay with her forever.

  • "My mom says these things get infected and infections are bad." Tumblekit murmured, confused by the she-kit's actions and words. She seemed sad, but it was a different kind of sad than he knew of. It made him want to squirm.
"Er.. I haven't met your sister, I don't think. Where is she?"

  • "Dead." she mewed quietly looking up at him for a brief moment, so much pain welling up in her beautiful big blue eyes. "I know." she mewed simply, she wanted to go through the pain the infection would bring her. Her sister had gone through far worse. The young kitten shuddered at the memory of the seal lynx point looming over her sister and ripping through her chest. At least she had put up a fight.

  • Tumblekit stayed quiet now- he had no idea how to handle this sort of thing. Spies were meant to be brave, though! The tom puffed out his chest, hoping it would cheer Flourescentkit- though it didn't seem to have much of an effect so he changed his tactics around. "But she's in a better place now, right?" he suggested in a murmur, dragging his claws in the dirt with his head down.

  • "I guess." she mewed quietly, shuffling her dainty white paws. "But I w-wish she was still alive." She shook her head to rid depressing thoughts and gave Tumblekit a small smile. "Anyways let's move on f-from depressing matters." she mewed, her innocent blue eyes glistening in the sunlight. "What do you want to be?" she asked curiously in her feathery soft voice. Fluroescentkit hardly spoke with a stutter, now that she had talked with Tumblekit for a bit she had come to actually enjoy his company, after being alone for so long it was nice.

  • Tumblekit practically collapsed with his joy at being over the rocky subject and onto something he knew about- what he wanted to be! It had been in his mind since he was only a few moons old. "A spy!" the little black kit meowed, standing straight again. "My pelt is the right color and my body is tiny!" he looked back toward his sisters, most of whom he was the same size or smaller than.
Tumblekit didn't mention the fact that he could hardly walk. It seemed irrelevant to him now.

  • Fluorescetkit felt a small purr rise in her chest as she watched with amusement in her big blue eyes. "Hmm..." she mewed, her whisker's twitching with amusement. "I think you'd be an excellent spy." she confirmed, flicking her long tail and giving him a light smile.

  • Tumblekit's maw stretched in a grin again and he shook his fur out, hoping to somehow make it darker. "Gee, thanks!" he meowed, his body quivering in excitement. "Do you think if I'm good enough they'll make me an apprentice even Faster? We could both try!"
