  • Taintedcompassion looked the she-cat straight in the eyes. His tail-tip slowly twitched as he watched her. "Don't like it," is all he said.

  • Euphoriapaw tilted her head slightly to the left as she stared back at the tom, her green gaze calm. "Why don't you like it?" The young bengal asked as she watced the toms expressions carefully, and she noticed that the tip of his tail was twitching.

  • Taintedcompassion looked down at his paws as she stared at him, wrinkling his nose and then unwrinkling his nose. "I just.... don't," he whispered. He had honestly never like the camp, to cramed and noisy.. but there was other issues with it to. He had to see cats he knew... and cats who knew him. He hadn't got his name for no reason.

  • Euphoriapaw thought about comforting the tom by laying her tail on his shoulder, but she had a feeling he would quick reject it, so she stayed where she was and changed the subject. "Do you know how to fish?" The young brown bengal asked as she turned her green gaze toward the clear water as it slowly moved through their territory.

  • Taintedcompassion looked up at her, smirking. "I don't really enjoy getting my pelt wet," he mewed as he shook his long haired night black pelt; his dark green eyes sparkling. He knew she was an interesting apprentice and he also mused that she wanted to know how he got his name. He wasn't always Taintedcompassion, and he didn't always have Tainted in his name. He "earned" that in his past.

  • "Well it brings extra food to camp. I've seen Wintercloud and Willowstar do it before. I think Willowstar said that Hawkclan cats learned how to fish from a cat? But that cat isn't around anymore." Euphoriapaw explained as she neared the edge of the river, her tail twitching as she locked her gaze on the flowing water. She remained motionless until she saw a flicker of silver, she then launched her paw into the water, but came up empty like last time. The young bengal gave a small annoyed hiss.

  • "Oh, is that so?" the tom asked. He watched her miss the fish, a small smile twitching at his lips. He knew of a she-cat in this clan, Astridclover, who was a fisher and a swimmer... She wasn't clan born, but she joined Hawkclan.

  • Euphoriapaw quickly began to shake her paw, splattering water on the ground around her. Then the young bengal slowly nodded her head. "I think Willowstar wants the mentors to teach their apprentices how to fish again. Besides it would help in leaf-bare if theres not a lot of food to go around." The she-cat mewed calmly as she sat down and calmly licked the paw that had gotten water on it. She of course wouldn't try again for a little while because she scared the fish with her lasts move.

  • "Hmmmm," he all Taintedcompassion said as he stared at Euphoriapaw. He watched her closely, his dark green eyes narrowing. She seemed to know what she was talking about, not a bad she-cat to.... No stop... That is what got you in the stupid mess. The furry night black tom shook his head, clearing the thought. He rose to his paws and shook his pelt. "The clan probably needs a few hunting patrols, we should probably go back," he suggest.

  • Euphoriapaw quickly began to pout, but hid it knowing Taintedcompassion wouldn't enjoy it. So the young bengal slowly nodded her head, even though she wasn't happy about it. "Well...I guess.." Her tone was full of disappointment as she wanted to stay out in the forest longer, but she knew she would have to go back to camp sooner or later, and rose her paws and began to pad toward the camp, her green gaze directed downward.

  • Taintedcompassion started to pad toward the camp, breathing hard. He had to keep control, he had to. Everything would just turn worse if he let himself be free. When he asked her if her soul was free and wild, she had said yes, but he would have said no. If I let myself be wild and free, more would be hurt," he mused in agony. Without looking at Euphoriapaw, he quickened his pace.

  • Euphoriapaw easily noticed that he picked up his pace. The apprentice had to pick up her pace to a jog just to keep up with the long-haired black tom. "Whats wrong?" The young bengal apprentice asked.

  • "N-No-Nothing," he stuttered as he began into a sprint. His heart pounded into his ears, he had to get to the camp, he had to calm down. His dark green eyes filled with pain and agony as he skidded to a stop just before the camp entrance. He bowed his head down to his chest, shutting his eyes tightly shut as his heart slowed to an unnormal beat. He unsheathed his claws, digging them deeply into the ground to steady himself.

  • The young bengal quickly became worried about the tom and sprinted after him, her green eyes started to get wide. The small apprentice even started to pant as the tom started to go faster, but then stop as they were at the ground. Euphoriapaw looked at the tom and placed her tail on his back. "Hey. Are you...Okay?" The young brown bengal mewed between breaths.

  • Taintedcompassion couldn't hold it in, his eyes turned a solid dark green, unmoving and unemotional. His head turned toward Euphoriapaw. "L-Leave me!" he growled as he slowly begain to back up toward the trees, away from the camp. This "illness" that the damn Dark Forest warrior placed on him was taking over, like it did before Taintedcompassion got his "new" name. "Leave!" he repeated.

  • Euphoriapaw gave a small squeal as she leaped backward away from the tom as his green eyes turned starngely dark, while her green eyes just widened. But sadly, this apprentice was stubborn and tried to help her clanmate by padding a step closer. "W-whats wrong? What can I do to help you?!" The apprentice sounded as if she was desperate, and she feared his illness might get worse.

  • "I don't want you to get hurt, Euphoriapaw, now leave," he growled as he back up. His rumpt smacked into the tree making his hiss in anger. He didn't want to hurt her, he didn't want her to be a victum of his "illness." His lover had already become a victum, and where was she? Avoiding him, entirely. If the illness got any worse he would lose control, and that would lead to.. things.

  • Again sadly this was a stubborn cat, but she cared more about her friends 'condition' then her own safety. Euphoriapaw slowly shook her head at him telling her to leave. "I'm not leaving until you tell me how I can help you!" The bengal cat then began to growl as if that would help Taintedcompassion tell her what was going gone, but she made the mistake of taking two steps forward.

  • Taintedcompassion lost it. The "illness" grabbed his heart and took over. He leaped over Euphoriapaw and snarled, "I warned you." -fade in- -fade out-

  • Euphoriapaw yowled loudly as she thought the tom would wound hurt her but nor r.ape her! The bengal was furious as she aimed to kick the black tom off of her, her lips curling over her ivory hued fangs. Now the she-cat wasn't afraid to fight the tom her green eyes blazing with rage.
