    She flinched and started crying again.
    She crawled away from him.

    She backed into the wall.

    She put her head in her hands.
    " Are you angry at me? "

    She looked up at hesitantly took the ruby from his hand.
    " Th-thank you.... "

    She sighed as he laughed.
    She laid down on the floor and attached the ruby to her necklace.
    She was soon fast asleep.

    She slowly awoke.
    She walked to her room and changed into another robe.
    She slipped into the dining hall and saw Marble's friends.
    She turned to leave, but one grabbed her arm.

    She pundded on the door.
    " Let me out! " she shouted.

    She turned around and slumped to the ground next to him.
    " A-are you o-o-okay? " she asked.

    She put her head on his chest and started to cry.
    " It's all my fault... " she sobbed.

    She didn't stop crying.
    " It is my fault! If I would've just let you cut me up.... "
